In a bind, I would stay here again because it is very close to Dartmouth, I felt safe, the room was spacious, clean, quiet, and the staff friendly. There was a strong musty smell that hit me every time I re-entered the room, likely due to the age of the property.

It was hard to get the room temp right. Not business friendly. The windows were broken. The price for one night not booked thru Expedia was over $300 and the room was definitely not worth it. Very small cramped room. It looked old with minimal improvements.

The bed was comfortable. The view from room 22 of the river was lovely. The refrigerator/freezer was good. They did a shoddy half job of updating an old motel. There was some mold. Very tiny rooms.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. This facility is on the bank of the Connecticut River and the surroundings were very nice with the fall colors.The room was clean and warm and the #2 rating is accurate. The establishment is dated with its furnishings and decor but it was a good value for the money. If you're looking for economy and not useless glitz and glitter, this is the place for you. Nice and quiet.

The room was very disgusting.. Dirty.. Dead insects.. Would not walk on floors.. kept sox on.. Would not sleep in bed.. kept clothes on.. Strange gurgling sounds from bathroom.. Wall paper had holes in it.. Worst place we ever stayed.. PLUS most expensive place in 4 days in Vermont !!.. We feel sorry for the 'managers', who were nice.. Hope they were not cheated into buying the place

Room was clean though no daily cleaning. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was minimal. Only beverage was coffee or tea. No juice offered. Minimal amount of milk available as in only enough for the cereal. For non coffee drinkers this was an issue.

The motel is very plain, with unmatching furniture, for example (not like a modern chain), and the bathroom was tight but very clean and partially renovated. Inside was decent, though outside needed paint, which didn't affect us. The king bed and pillows were actually very comfortable.

Was in town for Dartmouth family weekend. Check in was weird and was not sure if we were ever fully checked in, but everything on my card seems correct. The inn is dated, for sure. Pillows and bedding was comfortable. Wallpaper was peeling and fastened with push pins in spots. AC and fridge were good. Tv was plentiful with channels. Bathroom was small, some possible moldy spots and bring your own toiletries as the ones provided are lacking. Overall, price was on point for the weekend for a family on a budget. The view of the river was lovely. It was quiet and peaceful. There are no bells or whistles. We did not take advantage of any breakfast amenities so I am unable to comment on that. I give this property a, “clean enough” score. If you are okay with a little dated and a little run down, it’s perfect. Two miles from campus makes it convenient. Would love to see them make some updates. But will stay again.
