It was very pleasant, clean, comfortable, and the staff was great. Gwen our house keeper was wonderful. I had left my purse in the room when leaving and she came running out to give to me. Even before this she was very caring. i was alone with grandchildren and she was patient with us getting out of our room. Thank uo.

This is a charming hotel with reasonable rates and easy access to both RTES 89 and 91. Remarkably, we did not hear any traffic noise!

Website says full access restaurant but it’s closed Sunday/Monday and don’t mention that since we were there on a Monday had to go out for dinner. Also a lot of dust in the room and cobwebs.

Comfortable stay
We enjoyed our brief stay at Fireside Inn. Breakfast was good, the kids loved the pool and the beautiful fireplace that greeted us was warm and inviting. We wish we had more time to stay. My only complaint is the leaking tub that dripped all night. I could hear it even with the door closed.

Worth every penny
Service was excellent, from the front desk to the dining room. Our room was spotless! Not even a faint odor. Extra towels, miniature shampoos and conditioners, etc... We used both beds and really could have used an extra blanket but too tired to call for one from the front desk. Hot tub was foamy and only warm, not hot. But aside from these small things- we enjoyed our stay, our dinner and our breakfast. Special treats at the front desk put an exclamation point on an Inn-like experience! A welcoming real wood fire in the fieldstone hearth burns night and day. The Coy ponds trickling through the restaurant gardens is wonderful.
