We loved the stay, the location was very convenient for us. There were a couple issues, though, the cable for the tv in our bedroom did not work. Also, there were only 2 very small trash cans in the room, when we could have used at lease another one. There were also bugs all over that we assumed came in through the sliding door when it was opened. We had to keep a light on near the door all night to keep them from migrating into the bedroom.

No complaints except disappointing patio view

Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. I would stay here again, however, next time I would not pay extra for a patio room. This is a river front hotel and I was hoping to be able to sit outside and enjoy the view of the river. When I booked the room, all balcony rooms were full and so I booked a patio room which was more expensive than a standard room. We did sit outside for a little while the eve we arrived but the parking lot is between the hotel and river with vehicles parked directly in front of the patio so there was no view to enjoy. A balcony room would, in my option be worth the extra but definitely not a patio room.

I had a balcony suite and we had a spider in our room. Quite a large one according to my standards. We called the front desk, and our hotel manager at the time came up loaded with a broom and several kinds of spray. She heroically batted down and disposed of the spider for us. We had a good laugh about it that night, and the next day when we saw her again. I didn't get her name, but she was the nicest gal! Kudos to her for her spidey-senses.

Great breakfast!

Check in was easy, and the staff member that helped us was kind enough to put our two rooms next to each other despite the hotel being completely booked. Breakfast was great, the hotel was clean, we highly recommend a stay here!
