Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house was clean and beautiful. We had everything we needed. We were a family of 10, including two toddlers and one infant. Everything was perfect. The outdoor space was gorgeous! There was so much to do and everything was very well maintained. We loved using the canoes, the hot tub, the hammocks and the grassy side yard. One of our favorite things to do was sitting out on the dock, both day and night, enjoying the peace and tranquility and the beautiful views. I highly recommend this property! David was wonderful to work with and he made everything easy.

It was a wonderful stay. House was in a great location, right on the lake. David met us at the house and did a walk through with us, showing us all the amenities and made us feel very welcome. We fished, hung out on the large blow up raft on the lake and around the fire pit at night, used the kayaks and pedal boat, hot tub and oh there’s a karaoke speaker. We all had a blast. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need and beds are comfirtable. We all agreed we would definitely come back!! Thanks David

Lakehouse

This our third year returning to the lakehouse. The house is well equipped with everything you can think of. Plenty of paddle boards and kayaks, even toys for the grandchildren. Check in was easy as well as check out. Great location with lots to do!!!!! Dave is a wonderful host.

Great rental. David is so accommodating and communication was great. Very clean. Lots of comfortable seating inside and out. Enjoyed the deck, the 3 year old loved the beach and fishing off the dock, and the boats were fun.

Beautiful spot

The property is beautiful with many amenities. Everything we could need was at the house. The kids loved the waterslide and swimming out to the floating raft. We made use of the paddle boards, canoe, and kayaks. The fully fenced in yard made having the dog stress-free. Location is close to anything we needed while still feeling like a getaway. David was quick to communicate, even late at night when we experienced a power outage. Would stay again!

When your stay exceeds expectation

This was a late thought out mini vacation to celebrate my birthday and New Year’s. The host met me to hand-deliver keys and provided me an extensive review of the home and the property. He was beyond generous with his time and with his home and all the amenities offered inside and out. The home itself is incredible. There has clearly been a lot of thought put into every inch of the home. It really felt like home, it was so cozy and welcoming, and it really felt for that few days that we were home. There is a special atmosphere that you’d have to experience to appreciate. The house was pristine, clean, the bedrooms and the beds were perfect. More than ample space for your belongings and parking and everything else. I’ve traveled a lot, and have to say that this is by far the number one top experience saying in someone’s home. Consequently, the images on this listing, do not do the house justice.

Best Weekend!

From the moment we booked our trip, David was amazing! The house was even better than we expected. The grounds were spectacular and the lake front was incredible. Everything you need is in the house which is so thoughtful and I noticed it is also an accessible home which is very rare and wonderful. We will be going back again! Thank you David!

Ballston Lake House

Terrific family friendly home. Nice beach and dock. Lots of water toys to use. Responsive property manager. Kitchen is well stocked with basics. Nice deck with 2 tables and seating.

Great stay at this property. Good location. Only 15 minutes to Saratoga. Very quiet neighborhood. Lake was great. David was very accommodating to anything we needed.

The Best!

David is a fantastic host and we can't wait to go back to this property again. It had everything we needed. It was quiet, the lake was beautiful, the amenities in the house were fantastic. I loved the reverse osmosis water for drinking water. There were plenty of toys to play with in the lake so everyone had a great time! Thank you David!

Serene Family Vacation

We stayed locally for a family wedding. The host David was very accommodating from check in to check out. The property is gorgeous. We sat outside by the lake alllll day. The lake was surprisingly warm! The kids fished and played in the water all day. They ran around in the yard, and we all enjoyed the hot tub. Plenty of seating for eating inside or outside. The AC worked well. The beds were comfy. It was a great family vacation with a lifetime of memories made.

Wow - Just Wow

This house was just perfect. The host, David, was extremely responsive and accommodating. He met us when we got there to do a quick tour, which was helpful. Loved all of the decor within the house - complete with fairy lights and even a Christmas tree! So well lit and welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked, there were tons of bath and beach towels. The seating by the lake was plentiful, and the dock with water slide and inflatable island a great addition. The hot tub was perfect after going in the lake, which was also warm.There were inflatable tubes, kayaks and a paddle board to use. The tree house had hammocks one could sit in and read, overlooking the lake. The back deck also had plentiful seating and was a great place to have coffee in the morning. Pet and child friendly. David even bought toys for the kids to take home and beverages for the adults! Highly recommend. This house had it all!

Family Weekend

We just had lovely family weekend in Saratoga. David was very accommodating! He was there to greet us and give us a tour of the property. He was easy to communicate with and quick to answer. We had a great time inside with the board games on a rainy day, as well as spent our sunny day on the dock with the waterslide, on floats in the lake, on kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards, and in the hot tub. The house is about 20 minutes from downtown Saratoga too. So much to do! We loved that David’s place was pet friendly because that is often hard to find. All in all, it was a lovely weekend and we highly recommend anyone to stay here!

Perfect large Family gathering spot

We had a great stay on Ballston! 12 family members all convened to celebrate our college graduate. Three generations all enjoyed to house, yard and lake access. VERY well stocked kitchen. I’ve never stayed in a vacation rental with quite the awesome supply of condiments, spices, cooking apparatus. Beds were comfy and there were enough towels for a regiment. If we are back in the area I would definitely stay again.

Lake House Stay- Graduation celebration!

What a wonderful experience we had staying at this beautiful home. Our family enjoyed the beach, large deck and the large well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. The host was so friendly and accommodating! He went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He even came with gifts for our daughter’s graduation celebration. I highly recommend a stay at this house!

OMG. Best vrbo stay ever!!

Members of my Garden Club stayed here while attending a Flower Expo. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. It had the most well stocked kitchen I've ever encountered in a rental. The hot tub was an added bonus. During our spring stay we had an unexpected snowfall of about 8 inches so we couldnt enjoy the kayaks and canoes but the lake view was gorgeous. Id love to return here in the summer months. Our host, David, went above and beyond. He was very responsive and accommodating. On Saturday morning he arrived early to plow the snow from the driveway so we could get to the Flower Show. He even started our cars and brushed off all the snow. Thank you again David for such an awesome stay!!

Best of Times on Ballston Lake

We had a wonderful New Year’s weekend at the Ballston Lake House. David is a very welcoming host - he greeted us, left a welcome gift and was available if we needed him (we didn’t, but it was nice to know). The house is absolutely beautiful - modern kitchen, everything well equipped and well decorated, comfortable beds and most especially a hot, hot tub! The beach and yard looked like they would be great fun in warmer weather. The only thing to note is the listing says 6 bedrooms - the house has 5 actual bedrooms, with the listed 6th being a small den that has a pull out sofa bed. Ballston and Saratoga are great fun of course. Again , really lovely place and we very much enjoyed our stay!!

Amazing week !

We had 4 kids with us ranging from 4 to 10, and we all had a lovely time. Fishing, Canoeing, Camp fire, etc. The owner has thought of EVERYTHING you would ever need at a lake house - incredibly thoughtful. I would definitely like to come back. 10 out 10 !!

Bachelor Party Weekend

The Ballston Lake house was perfectly located for the activities we had planned in the Saratoga area. We wish we had another day as we weren't able to take in the numerous possibilities that the property and house had to offer. It is right on the lake and has a considerable sized yard for games, etc. Hope to return in the future.

Family Reunion Memories

It was a perfect house for our extended family reunion, with ages ranging from infant to retiree. We spent a lot of time near or in the water, playing or just relaxing. The lakeside vibe was incredibly calm. The layout of the house allowed us to gather in a selection of spaces, plus there were also nooks for quiet conversation. The den off the living room was my favorite. David greeted us when we arrived, walking us through the house, and making us feel like truly welcomed guests. Our typically shy five-year-old even insisted on telling him a story. A wonderful house that enabled my family to be together to play and then to bring home happy memories!

Family vacation

House was perfect for our needs. House had 5 large bedrooms with enough room to set up pack and plays and kids beds. House was right on the water. We loved kayaking and fishing off the dock. Sunrise over the water was lovely. The location was convenient to Saratoga Race Track, concerts at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, and downtown to Saratoga and Ballston Spa Our host David was most gracious and even personally thank us with a gift. I most definitely recommend this property

Our family had a great time at the property. We had our elderly mother with us so the one bedroom that was on the first floor worked great for her. We also had a one year old and there was a port-a-crib for her. Fenced in yard was great for the dog and the sandy beach was a treat for the kids. Would definitely stay here again. The Russell Family
