Cayuga Blu Hotel
4/5 Good
"Lovely hotel, centrally located in wine country and a stone's throw from Cayuga Lake. Classic 70's design, which we liked. Halls were a little dark and some walkways showed signs of age, but the facility is well maintained, with a beautiful central courtyard and dining area, and an outdoor pool that is open from early morning till after 10 at night. Comfortable beds and pleasant decorating. Staff is very helpful. It is very close to stores and pharmacies if supplies are needed, as well as at least one good restaurant (Ciao! Italian - recommended by staff) within a half mile. Close to interstate that leads to center of town. Refrigerators and microwaves in all rooms, along with clear, big-screen TVs. Cheerful carpeting and draperies. Bathroom floors could use an upgrade, but paint and tile are fresh and clean, showers have at least one grab bar, and mirrors are well-placed. Easy-to-operate air conditioner that works well. We slept in, so didn't get to try the breakfast, but our stay was enjoyable and we would stay here again."
