Perfect special weekend

We stayed here over the weekend of June 20th for our 6-month wedding anniversary. It absolutely exceeded our expectations. A gorgeous home, wonderful atmosphere, and mostly, Rachel and her family were so warm and inviting, and provided a wealth of information about the property because my husband and I are old house geeks. Delicious breakfast. And Buttercup was the perfect 4-legged hostess. We fell in love with the little town of Marietta, PA. We will definitely be returning!

Beautiful grounds overlooking a lake. Nice wraparound porch to relax. I was upgraded as a large group came in so the innkeeper put me in a quiet room with private bath. Breakfast was superb! Recommend if you need a place to relax in Marietta area!

We got to the property we booked and were told that it was completely booked. We drove following the innkeeper about a mile and one half to a sister property. We couldn't get in the front door so had to access the property through a backyard that was overgrown with tall weeds and plants and walk up 2 flights of stairs. The house was an old Colonial that needed work and was not as clean as it should be. We had not been notified ahead of time of the change.

I stayed here with my hubby and 3 friends. We booked the suite and have 2 rooms. They were very nice and the property was lovely. If I can convince more of my friends and family to stay I would love to rent the whole house one day/weekend. Future goals. Getting an uber home from the near by brewery was hard at 11pm. They had a lovely porch that we sat on before going out for the night. We have a few drinks while we watched a storm roll in. They have a fire pit and hot tub we didn’t use. It’s an old house but they make it work. Breakfast was also wonderful. Thank you ladies. Can’t wait to see the ducks next time we came and buttercup was a very seeet dog!

Wonderful

I wish I took photos of the place, but it's lovely. My friends and I loved it. I would come back here again. They have a cute little dog named Buttercup. Definitely the highlight of the manor!

We were made to feel at home here and truly enjoyed our brief stay! The owner gave us just enough personal attention and assistance when needed to get to a tournament down the road. The breakfast was amazing!! And the hot tub was a plus! Highly recommend

My husband and I had an overnight stay at the Susquehanna Manor Inn in April 2024. Our room was lovely, and the bed was comfortable. The Inn has much history with beautiful woodwork throughout the house including the grand staircase. Our host, Rachel was insightful with the home's history and the area. The best part of our stay was the delicious breakfast served in the formal dining room. It was truly scrumptious! Thanks, C&B
