Surfing

Rented the cottage to be close to the beach access for our daughter to surf. Unit was very clean and had everything we needed when we weren’t on the beach. Property manager immediately responded to one question I had upon arrival. Neighbors were friendly and you could tell everyone looked out for each other. Already making arrangements to return again.

Great Little Beach House

The house was clean and tidy when we first got there. The owners really did a good job with making it an open concept home. It had all the amenities we needed and was only a short throw from the beach. Highly recommend!

This property was nice! The mosquitos were very bad on the north side of the island toward the intercostal waterway. The dishes and pots and pans were not great.

Romantic weekend getaway

My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed getting away together for a quiet weekend at the beach. The property was perfect for what we needed and we were more than pleased. This is the perfect spot for a couple to enjoy some down time and some alone time!

Fabulous Find

This cottage was awesome! I loved pretty much everything about it. The only cons to the whole property were not enough working electrical outlets even though there were a ton in the cottage, no working porch light, and the curtains over the deck door were great for day time, but at night did not offer privacy. Maybe two sets of curtains would be best for this. But, overall, I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Plan to stay there next trip to Surfside!!!

Tiny Surfside house

It was small, but very comfortable for two people. We loved sitting on the deck in the mornings and evenings. Decor was well done. We loved the "cattle drive" picture on the wall.

Weekend getaway

We arrived 15 minutes before check in time and the property manager was flexible in letting us get in a bit early. She was very accommodating and even offered to bring extra coffee if we needed it. Very nice and cozy place. Highly recommend!

Almost perfect.

Super nice place w/great location behind The Jetties.if U want beach, this is your place. Try & get a manual or the like 2 explain the light switches & how 2 run the HVAC. That took 1.5 days 2 figure out.

It was OK

Pros: Right near the beach, within walking distance. Large balcony Newly remodeled home Cons: -Water was foul smelling and tasting -No privacy - - no curtains - - host lives next door so with no curtains makes you a little uncomfortable - - had a constant feeling we were being watched - - we put temporary paper blinds on the windows for a slight sense of privacy -Carpet was not installed properly so the tackboards poke your feet in the thresholds -A/C struggled to keep up in the heat of the summer even with all doors and windows kept closed -Bed was rather small, uncomfortable and cheap (basic metal frame that wobbled with every move) We have rented a number of places and this one was lower on the list. I would have hoped for the money spent, they could have done a better job with the renovations and accommodations. At least the host was friendly. To the owners: I would highly recommend a water filtration system for the house. A nice shower after a long day on the beach is always a plus, but we couldn't enjoy our showers at all...
