We got there and get in line to check in, was told they're running behind for the room ti get ready, said he would text me when its ready, after an hour got back in line to see if it's ready coz my husband and I drove almost 6hours and really tired, lady told me same thing not ready, so i said maybe by 4pm is ready? She said well technically it could be til 9pm, i said what? That bad? She said yes! Omg, i was charged resort fee too that i shouldn't have too coz by that time it's close anyways. After 3 hours and 30minutes finally got the text from them. Overall checking in, is horrible! First-time i experienced it from casinos resort, i always have good experience from golden nuggets just thought i try this place but never again.

Overall, this was a decent getaway. It was my moms birthday so I reserved the L'Auberge 6/28 - 6/30. Let's start with the reservations. I needed to cancel a room bc my siblings couldn't make it and add 6/28 to my second reservations. Due to issues on Expedia side, I had to book another room for 6/28. So I had to reservations and was advised speak with the hotel and have them combine the rooms so my stay would be 6/28 - 6/30. Get to the hotel they were able to combine the rooms, but the reservation for 6/28 was listed as smoking eventhough I booked non smoking. It was either stay in non-smoking the entire stay or non smoking day one and switch to non smoking tomorrow. I asked my mom, she was not happy but she didnt want to move. We choice to stay in the smoking room the entire stay. Not the best decision as the room had a stall smoke smell that had my allergies going crazy! Then, there was hair in my shower that didn't belong to me. There is hair all over the floor as well floor doesn't to have been swept or mopped. The view was nice aside from the loud pool party that was from 10p til past midnight. I would give the hotel a 6.5 out of 10. Hotel is pricey for Saturday. My main concern was being in a smoking room eventhough I selected non-smoking. Oh and the HDMI doesn't work. Why have it available if we can't use it. I contacted the front desk and advised it doesn't work.
