Terrible service and construction work

Front of the house staff clearly do not have any sense of customer service. Due to an issue with the hotel software, it took 40 minutes for the receptionist to check us in and give us the room. Never apologized or tried to make our wait better. Receptionist the day after wasn't more welcoming. The hotel is currently being renovated so it feels like sleeping on a construction site

The staff had a new system that no one understood. They scanned my credit card and then advised me that they made a mistake and should not have charged my card for the room because I had paid through Expedia. The second floor was being renovated and there was active painting going on and dry wall dust everywhere. They agreed to give us another room but the toilet wouldn’t flush so we asked for another room but none were available so the next morning we were forced to check out but we could not get a refund! I deserve a full refund

A smaller Holiday Inn than what I'm accustomed to but it all worked out. Staff was friendly & welcoming. Easy parking & restaurant was near by. Will come again to see the new renovations!

Wonderful Dixie charm

My stay was extremely comfortable and the interior decorations were charming with a down home Louisiana feel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was exceptional and not enough can be said about the cook. I just wish the outdoor pool was open but it was closed for the season. There is a cool artist market next door.
