Excellent customer service, we fall in love with this place ! Definitely we are coming back ! The receptionist said the owner bake muffins I can’t wait to try those tomorrow morning !

It was so clean and the view stunning. The people there were super hosts! Absolutely recommend it to anyone.

Everyone was nice enough. The place was clean. Staff and guests smoke on the front porch at the entrance to the main lobby. It didn't bother us but somethnig you should be aware of. There are 4 or 5 ashtrays on the front porch. We didn't realize the bathrooms were shared and asked if they had any upgrades to rooms with private baths. They did, and said they'd get back to us that evening. We never saw anyone at the desk for the rest of our 3-night visit. My biggest gripe, parking lot is far too cramped. The spaces are numbered. I intentionall parked wide to the right (front desk said no one was in the spot to the right of us) so I could make sure I'd be able to get in the driver's side when we needed to leave at 5am the next morning. The car to our left decided to come all the way over the line and leave their bumper 3 inchs from my drivers side door. I had to climb over the console to get into the car. The parking space lines are simply too close togther. Mid-size SUV or bigger, truck? There is simply no parking for that -- me climbing over the console of our jeep at 5am settles that. Maybe helpful to others as well - this place is on a steep hill and it's all stairs all the way up to the house and up to your room. Perhaps the cabins are handycap accessible, but the house is not.

Close to the beach and shops. Can walk down the hill and not worry about parking.

It's cleaned every 30-40 minites. BEAUTIFUL VIEW. Wonderful staff.

Very quint. Older inn building. Very cozy and clean with great upstairs views of the lake. We really enjoyed our stay

Thank you for your review Andrew, we would like to respond to some of your concerns while visiting with us. We do not allow smoking inside the Inn nor do we allow smoking in the Cottages. However, we allow our guests that do happen to smoke to do so outside only. We plan to address a non smoking policy on the deck to the lobby for next season. If any employee was smoking on the deck, they would have been off duty at the time and this has also been addressed. Regarding the shared bathrooms, our website clearly states which rooms do have shared baths when you book your room. When you checked in, you had asked about a possible upgrade and unfortunately we were booked for the weekend and were unable to accommodate your request. You had never come back to the desk as discussed to speak with us regarding this request. Our front desk is open from 8AM-8PM and if for any reason one of our Lakeview Family was not at the desk, they were attending to the needs of another guest or housekeeping in which case there is a Framed Notice on the Desk with the Cell number of the person on duty in the event a guest needed immediate service. You had mentioned being on a steep hill. Yes, we are on Tower Hill Rd which affords us the beautiful view of the Lake and the mountains that our guests enjoy so very much. Parking for larger vehicles is also being addressed for next season as well. One again, thank you for your review and we hope to see you again!
