Weirs Beach Motel and Cottages

The location is excellent which is what you're really paying for. The staff were extremely friendly and check in and out was a breeze. Our cottage smelled terrible - like old cigarette smoke and a mix of mold/mildew. The bathroom is small and the place is run down. I thought the bed was comfortable, my husband disagreed. It wasn't the nicest place but I would stay again. I loved the screened in porch.

I really have nothing negative to say about this place. It was fantastic. I stayed in cottage number 6. it was ready for early check it. I noticed right away how well the buildings looked and the property was spotless. Whoever maintains the property really does an excellent job. The cabins are small, VERY CLEAN, fridge, flatscreen tv, a/c, coffee pot / everything you need for a short stay. The location is perfect. literally a minutes walk from the pier, arcade / food / drinks and beach. 1.5 miles from fun spot. It was 91 degrees and very humid the day i was there and the air conditioner in the cabin kept me ice cold, i even had to turn it off, A+++ I have stayed in hotels / apartments / b&B all over the world, and i consider myself to be pretty fussy about things and i really couldnt find anything wrong with the place. The owners are obviously very proud of their business and genuinely care that you are happy. Im very happy i stayed here and would return without a doubt. some people review that the place needs updating, i dont agree. I think its perfect. The little cottages look, smell, and feel like classic old cabins.

My excellent adventure took me out onto the lake for hours leaving little time for anything else.

The facilities were very outdated and dingy. Ceiling tiles were warped with obvious water damage. There were no grounded outlets. Things weren't grossly dirty, but they weren't really clean. I wiped spilled water off the kitchen floor and the paper towel was very brown. The bathroom sink was covered in hard water stains and the drain was rusty. If you were looking for a more "camp-like" experience, This was a comfortable place to stay and very close to a nice beach. The location is very nice. The room was comfortable, AC worked great. Nice TV...

Small and could use a little tlc but was great for a two night stay with our dog for my birthday!

The kitchenette is well stocked, and one can grill with comfort. The location of the hotel (a minute's walk away from the pier) adds to the value.

This little cabin was perfect! So close to weirs beach, just about 2 minute walk to the heart of everything! Cabin was small but just what we needed- clean, simple and close to everything. The price was right. The fridge, coffeemaker and microwave were also great to have, along with real coffee mate liquid creamer (bonus!). We would surely stay again!

My family had so much fun & we were located right in the heart of it all !!! We all had a great time & will definitely stay here again.

Close to beach, bars and concert venue...good for the money...a little dated but worth it.

We were looking for a CLEAN, dog friendly reasonably priced place to stay on Lake Winnipesaukee, as we traveled home from Maine. This certainly fit the bill.....We stayed in a little cabin that brought me back to my youth & happy memories of vacations with my parents. We would have liked to make use of the grill & picnic table outside our cabin, but we were just there overnight. It was a pleasant stroll into town to walk the boardwalk, put my feet in the lake at the town beach, play skeeball at the arcade & have an ice cream cone .We especially enjoyed the fact that the town was not crowded & was very clean (no litter). It would have been nice to be directly ON the lake & have access to rowboats, but I would certainly recommend it & look forward to returning to stay longer......

It was a nice trip in 2014 with family and friends.

Our room had an ant problem. The owner was very apologetic. He let us skip out on the 2nd night and refunded the night we didn't stay. He was reassuring that the problem would be addressed. Motel is walking distance to boardwalk and beach.

Very clean hotel on quiet road. Room has coffee maker and fridge. Close to restaurants. Downfall is you hear everything walls have no sound insulation. Anytime someone shuts a door or walks on the porch outside. People were sitting outside drinking till 3am and you could hear everything. AC didn't work real well so it got kinda uncomfortable. I will recommend this motel only because it's clean and pretty well kept. Just take ear plugs.

This was a great place to stay. Very relaxed and friendly. This place had everything we needed. It's not a fancy place, but it's clean and efficient. Lots of room, if you don't require a mansion. I plan to make this my destination alot in the future. The service was excellent!

The location for the Weirs Beach Motel and Cottages was convenient to the lakefront. My daughter and I stayed in the motel. There was hair on the "clean" bottom sheets on both beds. Also stains, yellow in color. We both had to take the hopefully clean bath towels and laid them on top of bottom sheets and slept on that. Also we covered the pillows with our T shirts before usage. Toliet was unable to flush even toliet paper. Dirty plunger was sitting next to shower/tub. Gross and dirty. Needless to say we did not use shower, towels needed for hair ridden bed sheets.

The rooms are a bit dated, but have a mini fridge and microwave and is good sized. I was there for a combination of business and pleasure. The location is great. Walking distance to the main boardwalk at Weirs Beach and all of the attractions.

We stayed at Weir's Beach Cottages August 26-27th. We were plesantly surprised with out accomodations. It was a two bedroom cottage with a full kitchen and screened porch. The cottage seemed brand new. Everything was there that we needed. Plenty of towels, soap, and shampoo. Dishes were clean as were the pots and pans. Weir's Beach Boardwalk was 5 minutes walk down the street. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

very nice little cottage. Great location for the beach. Very friendly staff. We attended a wedding on the MS Mount Washington and the hotel is within walking distance from the pier. At first glance we were a little put off by the appearance but soon realized it was a very cute little place perfect for a married couple to just get away from it all. We will be going back next season.

Well, if we were partying we'd of probably loved it. It was right on the main strip where the bars and beach front are. And I mean right on the road. We could hear harleys starting up all night. The cabin was modest. It would of been sufficient if the bathroom had been a bit bigger. My husband had a hard time fitting on the miniature toilet that was slightly slanted and not secured to the floor. We paid $159.00/ night because it was Nascar race weekend in the next town over. THAT was unreasonable.I understand they raise the rates during these special event times but that doesn't make it right. These accomodations were not worth a fraction of that price.

Thank you for your review. Our cottages are over 100 years old, and although we do not try to make them look modern, we do have some modern amenities and keep them very clean. We are sorry to hear that you thought there was an odor, so we apologize and will address it immediately. Again, thank you for staying with us and we hope to see you again in the future.
