The apartment was in the town centre so convenient for eateries and shops. Free car parking at library uphill, though busy . From there it is the nearest point from which to offload baggage for apartment.
Baggage… be prepared for a long climb up 2 steep, enclosed sets of stairs to second floor.
There is basic provision of kitchen cutlery etc , however, the apartment is advertised for 3 persons ( double bed and a single) but only 2 seats were provided for us at a small kitchen table in the kitchen/ eating/ seating room . The small couch could seat only 2 persons. No full length hanging place for clothes except a necessary hook for wet outer clothes.
It has a small dishwasher and a washer/drier machine but as many clothes cannot be tumble dried a drying rack is necessary. The accommodation is the attic floor of a little house and though it looks bigger in the photos, we simply found it too small for 3 adults ( climbing across cases to get into beds) Appreciating that Kinsale attracts many visitors, we thought it was on the expensive side. An out of town hotel including breakfast and swimming pool is actually cheaper.
