My husband & I spent 2 nights at the elegantly decorated Perryville House. Fresh flowers everywhere, surrounded by gorgeous gardens. It is so tastefully decorated; you will find yourself noticing new details each time you enter one of the rooms. The breakfasts are a real treat too. Fresh juices, individual pots of French press coffee, fresh eggs, fruits and homemade jams. The rooms upstairs are beautiful with modern, upscale bathrooms and all extremely clean. I would highly recommend this B & B as a can’t miss while visiting Kinsale.

This guest house is the finest we stayed in during our 11 days in Ireland. Beginning with our initial greeting by the owner, the service was impeccable. Guest rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast buffet as well as menu were outstanding. Room keys are unique and remain with the hotel while you're out exploring the wonderful city of Kinsale. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this guest house.

The proprietors have lovingly restored and decorated the house over 20+ years and their care shows. Our rooms were meticulous, comfortable fluffy bedding, tastefully appointed, bathrooms newly renovated. Proprietors personally greeted us, saw us to our rooms, assisted us in making a local reservation. The breakfast (included in stay) was also first rate- and thoughtfully prepared. A real gem. Of all the places I stayed in Ireland, Perryville stood out as a favorite.

Perryville House was originally built by a pirate it is a beautiful 18th century building that has been beautifully restored by its owners Andrew & Laura Corcoran. it has 35 bedrooms all exquisitely furnished the huge four poster beds are so comfortable I did not want to get up. The bathrooms have showers and baths lots of fluffy towels and everything you need. The hotel has a very pretty garden with fountains and beach trees and a rose garden is being built. I had the Sovereign suite overlooking the delightful harbour which was full of yachts for the regatta. Perryville does not have a restaurant as there are many restaurants in the town; we ate at Bastion which was excellent. Perryville has a well stocked bar for its guests and also has scrumptious homemade scones and cakes for tea. Their breakfasts are truly amazing. their bread is all baked in their kitchen and honey comes from the owner's hives and is served in the comb. One day I had pancakes and to say they were delicious is an understatement they came with a compote of black currants, mixed berries and maple syrup. There are omelettes and lots of other dishes to tempt you. The owners and their staff cannot do enough for you everyone is charming and helpful. I was sad to leave and plan to go back next year. It is open from April to October. Perryville is near the Old head golf course another beautiful place.

Kinsale is ridiculously expensive, this very exclusive and up-market B&B / Hotel doubly so. It's a beautiful large old house by the water with luxurious rooms, a lounge with a bar and breakfast options to satisfy every taste. We had a first floor room overlooking the water and although the busy road could be heard, it wasn't noisy (the traffic dies down in the evening anyway). All mod cons and luxuries in the room and bathroom - you won't want for anything else. The service too was impeccable and special mentions to the Polish night porter (who was always cheery and wanted to carry everything for us) and the lady serving at the bar (who made restaurant suggestions and bookings for us). (I'm shocking at asking for names, so apologies). A small niggle was being welcomed by the owner who then abruptly focused his attention on a wealthy American woman, leaving us wondering what to do next. (It reminded me of a Fawlty Towers episode where Basil is doing his utmost to impress the monied guests whilst shunning the proles). Fortunately, Mr Polish porter stepped in to assist and led us past the fawning manager to our room. This is a luxurious and very comfortable place next to the foodie centre of Ireland that is Kinsale. It would be magnificent for a romantic honeymoon stay - but go and see your bank manager first.

We spent three nights here. The hotel is perfectly located on the waterfront. It is lovely - nicely furnished with lots of beautiful pictures, comfy furniture and a really cute garden. The staff were really nice and helpful. The breakfast was amazing - cooked to order with lots of options.

This was one of our two favorite overnight places in Ireland. Great location on the bay. We arrived in a sour mood because we had just found out that the dinner reservation at Max's that I had made six weeks previously had been lost. Sebastian quickly found us a dinner time at the popular Finn's Table for one of best dinners of our vacation. Our quiet room was wonderful--lovely and immaculate with a nice view of a walled garden and the bay. Breakfast the next morning was extensive and delicious. Highly recommend.

My family stayed at the Perryville house for 5 nights as we went through Kinsale. Beautiful location, terrific staff, wonderful food, and top of the line sleeping accommodation. Sinead, Marion, & Francis were stand outs as far as staff goes. Breakfast was amazing.

We took a wonderful tour of Ireland with a small group of friends. Our night at the Perryville House was a true highlight. We were greeted by a friendly staff who truly welcomed us. They made helpful suggestions for attractions and dinner. Breakfast was also a highlight. A very delightful evening.

The room is large. The decor is fitting with the nautical theme. The bed is comfortable. There is no top sheet, as is common in Ireland, but it wasn’t a problem because it wasn’t too hot to sleep with the comforter at night. The bathroom is small. The walk-in shower is nice. There is no air conditioning. There is no thermostat to control the heat in the room. They control the heat centrally in the hotel. There is a large window. Keeping the window open kept the room nice and cool. It was cold enough to sleep well at night. The location is great. It’s right in the harbor in the heart of town. The breakfast is great. The service is great. The portage service for the bags is a very nice touch.
