A great place! Lovely house in walking distance to the ocean and restaurants.

This place meets and exceeds expectations. It’s well located and has nice furnishings. A great kitchen and nice outdoor space. Perfect for groups.

Spring Break April 2025

Our stay was amazing the house was what we thought it would be. The only issue that we had was the pool was not heated when we arrived but the property manager took care of the issue. Would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect Location and View

House was in the perfect location! Amazing view and perfect for our team building/girls weekend! Enough beds and bathrooms for us all. Hot tub and heated pool was a plus. And the movie theater was an added bonus as well.

Best house for our Bachelorette getaway!

It was perfect for our group of 12 to each have own bedroom, spots to chill out, all amenities in the kitchen you could ever need. 3 fridges plus wine cooler and 2 ice machines! Beautiful place!

OBX Family vacation

Large family gathering(24). Plenty of room,everyone was comfortable. Great location, plenty to do even when wheather was bad. We would definitely do this again. Thanks to everybody at Coastal Carolina.

Special Obx weekend

Gathered at Obx to attend a family wedding. The property was even more beautiful in person! Great amenities and location. Wonderful responsiveness from the property manager on any questions. Grab this one if you can. It is definitely worth it!

House has everything for big group

House has everything for big groups. Enough bed rooms and bathrooms that were clean and well maintained (except one bedroom where bunk bed was broken) kitchen, dining and seating in living area was good. Kids had fun in movie room. Pool and fuse ball game should have been better placed and well maintained.

Annual family beach trip

The house is very roomy! Loved having an elevator. We would have like more chaos on the pool deck and balconies. The kitchen has lots of fridge space. One of the 2 dishwashers was missing a rack and also stopped working. Management company said they would order a replacement. Kitchen was well stocked but could use several sheet pans.

Great for group trip!

The house was exactly as pictured and described. Our group was 23 adults and we had plenty of space for everyone. The pool was large enough for all of us to be in and around at the same time. The stairs over the dune to the beach are slightly warn from the elements, but are well maintained and safe. The kitchen was stocked with enough dishes and utensils to get us through each day. All rooms were clean and look exactly like the pictures. The location in Kill Devil Hills is central to nearly all the restaurants, sights, and activities in the Outer Banks. Everything was within a 15 minute drive. We brought 7 cars and there was enough parking for at least 2 more with a different configuration. We will absolutely book this house again if we decided to take another large group trip to OBX!

Plenty of room, ready for some updates

We rented The Sandbox for our annual company retreat for 21 people. The bedrooms are nicely sized and everything was neat and clean upon arrival. The hot tub and outdoor spaces are great and we enjoyed an unseasonably nice weekend. The walk up the steps, over the dune provides an incredible view. Each TV has a ROKU box which was fantastic for late night streaming. The furniture and appliances in the house are ready for some updates. The dishwashers in the kitchen have some broken parts and don't wash well. The bed slats were broken on one of the upper bunkbeds and thankfully no one tried to lay on that mattress before we noticed. The theater room is ready to be updated as the seating is very loose and broken away from the floor in areas. The kitchen supplies are okay, there is a crock pot and an instapot, however we ended up buying plastic cuttlery as there weren't enough forks for 21 people to use without washing after every meal. There are plenty of dishes, but not many coffee mugs or glasses. Several of the dining chairs need to be replaced as the backs are loose or broken. We had a wonderful retreat and the house served it's purpose well. As we plan next year's retreat we would consider this house again if some updates were made.
