The Property has old world charm with its beautiful lobby and welcoming fire in fireplace. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very nice breakfasts each morning. Our stay was a bit challenging at times as I have some disabilities and there is no elevator and no clear walkway to the beach.

Our suite was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. The lobby is gorgeous, with the original woodwork from 1939. In this lobby was a cozy fire in the fireplace surrounded by comfortable leather sofas and wingback chairs, which were very enjoyable to relax in at the end of the day.

I loved the hot apple cider so much. The apple cider and the room reminded me of grandma house…felt right at home. Breakfast was good for hotel food. Not the greatest I ever had but pretty close. I love this hotel! The front desk associate was friendly and very helpful. My top favorite hotel!

Unfortunately, I recently stayed at this hotel and had a less-than-satisfying experience. The front desk staff was not very friendly or helpful, making check-in and any inquiries uncomfortable. The breakfast provided was just okay—not much variety or quality. The room and bathroom were both quite small, but on a positive note, they were at least clean. However, the noisy air conditioner made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Overall, it was an adequate stay, but there are areas for improvement.

What a great little beach place to stay. Very kind and helpful staff. Very old hotel owned by wright brothers with great little historical pieces about hotel and wright brothers in lobby. Lobby has old wood floors and fireplace giving a very cozy cottage feel...it's cool as we are here and we very much enjoyed the warm charm of this place.the included breakfast of pancakes,sugar and eggs was a nice added plus. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in a single room on the second floor with exterior access. The location was perfect. The property was very clean. The staff was attentive and courteous. Overall the hotel was in a great location, easy beach access and a very good option for a 2-3 stay before or after an OBX vacation. I will definitely stay again.
