Nice condo

It was clean, had all the kitchen items one needed, had a beautiful view. Didn't find the umbrellas until we were leaving and it rained 3 times. I have been to the Ekahi over 20 times and never saw rain! Otherwise, all was perfect.

Great view, well-sized unit!

I stayed here for a conference. Lots of space, great view, and extremely well-stocked with anything you could need. I had an issue with the internet not working the first day, but the host was responsive and we got it resolved.

The perfect stay

This condo has everything you could possibly want as a couple or even a small family. Beautiful ocean views and sunsets, huge patio, air conditioning, a few steps to multiple pools and a great beach, and a very short drive (or walk if you’re up for it) to shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be staying here next time we’re in Maui!

Excellent condo in a great location!

I love staying at Ekahi Villlage, and have stayed at several different condos in the community. I was excited when this unit became available for a short trip. The condo itself was probably the cleanest I’ve ever seen in any condo rental previously. Super impressive. The kitchen was well stocked with just about everything you could need to cook, including a metal spatula, which in my world is a huge bonus. Bedroom is very large, my parents did say maybe the mattress could be replaced or flipped, but otherwise not bad. The pull out sofa bed is brand new, and quite comfy for a sofa bed, I’m 45 years old and slept like a baby on it. There is also a Murphy bed in a strange spot in between the laundry space and bathroom, it had a comfy mattress as well, so if you needed extra sleeping arrangements, there are technically 3 beds, you just can’t access the 2nd bathroom if the Murphy bed is open. Two bathrooms, some updates but nothing too fancy. I appreciated having a blow dryer in the bathroom, even though I only used it once. Living area has new furniture and it is very cozy, large tv, nice dining area. Lanai is very large with great furniture as well, and lets just talk about that view….this view is worth every penny you’ll spend here. You can see all the way from Molokini to the West Maui mountains, and all ocean in between. There is a pool directly across the road, it’s not heated just FYI. There is a heated pool at the pavilion, which is a short walk downhill from this unit, as well as the beach access. The walk back up can be tough if you have mobility issues, but not bad at all for everyone else. The one thing I will say though, is that don’t plan on getting an early check-in. When I booked I noticed there was a night in between the prior renter and my check in, so I asked in advance if it would be possible to check in early, we came over from Oahu around 11am. The folks at Rentals Maui told me to call the day of check in to see, which I did once we landed. They told me it wasn’t ready yet, but they would call me when it was. After a couple of chats back and forth, and stalling as much as we could, we headed down. I arrived at 2pm and saw nobody in the unit, but was still told it wasn’t ready, so we waited and saw nobody coming or going. Finally got in at 3:42. Thanks for the 18 free minutes I guess! Just know they probably won’t let you in early, even if the condo is empty the day prior! Overall, I loved it and will stay again!!

Beautiful and Peaceful in the perfect Location

Amazing spot, truly cannot recommend it enough. The location to the beach and to walking distance restaurants/shops is ideal. House had every item we needed. Only con is that the mattress in the bedroom is obviously quite old and is in poor condition, be prepared to feel every spring haha. That said, we would still come back as everything else was truly perfect and we loved our stay!!

Better than advertised

Apparently, AC was added after I made my reservation. Pleasant surprise! Also, owners/previous guests have left spices, plastic wrap, etc. So see what is there before going to the market, and pass the Aloha forward!

Great location in South Maui

We had a great time in the condo located in Ekahi. The unit is very clean and comfortable with a great view from the lanai. The beach and pool are a short walk. We swam with turtles while snorkeling. We highly recommend.

Wonderful place!

Great view & amenities! Updated kitchen. AC works great. Loved that the TV had sound bar to listen to some island vibe music while having coffee and breakfast while looking out to the ocean and islands. Binoculars to watch all the boats head out to Molokini and the canoes skim across the water. Short walk down the hill to the main pool and pavilion. All things for the beach included, even a cooler bag and wagon to take it all in. Would defenitly go back to property. Mahalo!

Lovely Condo and Location - No A/C

We enjoyed our stay very much . Luckily it wasn't too hot and the condo cooled off at night. So we could deal with the heat sleeping without A/C. The condo furnishing are a bit dated, but the beach, view, location, amenities, ocean, view, pools, bbqs, pavilion, and the condo is well stocked with the necessities... all make up for the little it lacks. Wailea is our favorite place to visit on Maui and the Ekahi Village is the best. When I booked the condo I didn't remember reading that it didn't have A/C, so I was surprised upon check-in. However the property manager brought us a good fan and sent someone to get the bedroom fan spinning for air circulation, they are very responsive, but you have to ask. Overall we loved it, even without A/C. The Ekahi Village and Maui are the best. We enjoyed our stay so very much.

Great location and wonderful condo, close to the beach and fantastic view

Unfortunately, during reservation process we were not notified about planning constructions on the stairs to our 2nd floor condo during our stay, so for 4 days from the 8 days we had experienced noise, dust and restrictions to reach or leave our room. The notice about construction was given to us May 30 , 3 days before our rent started June 2nd. We dont know who is responsible for this, but VRBO is charging significantly for the service, so what for VRBO is responsible and what is included in their service ? Finally after communication with local Rental agency we got discount. Thanks to Maui Rental for this. But even having this discount our vacation was not as good as it should be and how was expected.
