Not sure if we visited in the wrong time but the beach was unusable. Water in the beach was very dirty and smelly (nothing like what is shown on their pictures). We mainly visit Florida for their clearwater beaches but here we were forced to use pools which were average and got pretty crowded, considering that all guests had to use them since they cannot use the beach. Be ready to pay $50/night valet parking if you drive there. There are no other options. Breakfast and hotel architecture were exceptional though.

Room with balcony and ocean view the best. Staff was very nice and always kind and helpful. Breakfast buffet had a great variety with an omelet station.It was all you could eat and worth every penny. The beach was clean with beach longe chairs. Valet parking personnel took care of our new vehicle and were very courteous. Wish we could live at Casa Marina was hard to leave. See you as soon as we can.

Beautiful Facility but Overpriced

This resort has the facility to be excellent but is really not a luxury hotel commanding luxury prices. The elevator to our wing was broken for two days. The room was OK but not up to the standard of the nightly rate. Housekeeping was not efficient. The restaurants and bar were very good.

Please avoid Casa Marina at key west. Almost no one on the room floor speaks English, when we asked to do our room, after two days, the person replied a flat "NO!", we had to call the manager. First day we have to wait 5 hours because our room was not ready. The ocean on the beach property is murky and muddy, the restaurant offers just few plates and, they are incredibly overpriced. We had ants all over the bathroom sink. The elevator to access the room floor was in a decadent condition.

I have stayed at the Casa Marina many many times over the years. Although the outdoor area and grounds are stunning, the common areas, hallways, elevators, etc. leave much to be desired. The room was fine but small. Unfortunately, it was the third room we were assigned because the first two were unacceptable. The first didn’t have windows and high level rather any natural light started over 7 feet up on the wall. It felt like we were in a basement the second room option had big windows, but for huge air-conditioning units blocked any natural light. The third room was fine.

We had a great mini spring break here. Great for kids, Ubers always close by to get into old Key West in less than 10 minutes, and the beach and pool are so nice.

This is not a five star hotel. We spent a boat load of money to stay in the Motel 6 portion of the hotel. Dirty walls, no plants but dead ones, no flowers, nothing. The room came with stained towels, dirty floors, stained sheets. This is NOT a $900.00 a night hotel. Don’t stay here!!
