Retro feel in Ketnville

Wonderfully maintained vintage feel. So, so cute felt like l was in a 1950s lake cabin. Lots of pride in appearance. They were able to get me in even though had overbooked.

Nice Wooden Themed Room

Very nice stay! Clean and quiet room. The wooden themed room is definitely a very unique touch. Walkable distance to downtown kernville and Kern River. Will definitely stay here again!

10 hour stay was worth the money.

Upon arrival, nobody at front desk, had to call a phone number for key. 9pm Upon entry to the room, zero toilet paper, tissue, etc. Had to call again. A bonus was a great A/C that kept the room comfortable the whole night. The shower was not appealing so we choose not to shower in the morning and go straight to river rafting. Location was great and price for 10 hours was just right.

Loved the lodge did need a bit of maintenance. Remote didn’t work. And the power was cut off by the power company every day from as early as 11am till midnight for 2 nights one night it did come back on at 6:30. This was not the lodges fault. The whole town was without power. But as far as the lodge itself I loved it and would recommend.

The hotel and the room was very cute and iconic. The manager was a great guy. The power was out in town when I got there. The manager ran a generator so that my room had air conditioning because I had my dog. The bed was rather uncomfortable and only 2 tiny pillows. There was only two thin tiny bath towels. And the shower drain was stopped up. So bring your own pillows and towels.

There was an old gentleman working that could not handle the guests. There was no shampoo soap,toilet paper etc. in the bathroom. We had to go up and wait just to receive these items. They allowed a bunch of teens from outside the hotel to come swim, which caused our kids to have to leave the whole point of staying was to enjoy the pool which we didn’t get to I complained and they made Them leave, but it was already too late. I wanna request at least half of a refund.
