Op het moment van inchecken werd ik via Whatsapp verzocht niet te komen, vanwege de verkeerde prijs op de site van Hotels.com. Het is hun verantwoordelijkheid om dagelijks hun prijzen te verifieren. Ze zeiden dat ze mij geen kamer zouden geven. Ik had een positieve reactie geschreven, indien zij mij direct na de betaling van de boeking hadden verzocht om kosteloos te annuleren. Door mij op de dag van inchecken te dwingen om te annuleren, heb ik een uur met Hotels.com aan de telefoon gezeten en twee weken later nog steeds geen restitutie. M.i. hoort zo'n organisatie bij Hotels.com geweerd te worden vanwege de behoorlijke chantabele ethiek.
