It was fine for what we needed for an over night stay. The room had long black hairs on the floor in the bathroom. The shower made a noise like a hoover when switched on. Food was fine and staff were lovely.

I had stayed there about 10yrs ago & it was really nice. On arrival the doors were locked (20.45) phoned the number on the door to get let in. I thought the entrance looked really lovely. Got checked in & went to our room. Having a look around ( as you do) the bathroom was very dirty, especially in the shower. Got ready for bed, the bed was awful & very soft. Which you rolled into the middle. The carpet looked as though it had not been hoovered, dust under the bedside cabinets & bits on the carpet. If so…. They need a new hoover. In the morning went down for breakfast, no menu was given to show what the options were. The butter was rock solid that you couldn’t spread it on your toast, milk came in a sugar bowl, cooked breakfast was awful. I certainly will not be staying there again. Very disappointing.

Great boutique option close to city

Lovely boutique hotel, short stroll from centre of city. Great little cocktail bar onsite. Room was great, well equipped and super clean. Had everything we needed. We traveled with 3 teens, and they loved this place

READ NEGATIVE REVIEWS CAREFULLY!! I am skeptical as to how this hotel could receive any positive reviews and if you would look closer you will see many of the somewhat decent reviews are about the hotels restaurant NOT their accommodation. -EXTREMELY dirty rooms including leftover rubbish from previous guest/cleaner -Rude and unaccommodating staff

We chose this room en-route and it turned out to be very nice. It was very nice the shower took a little time to figure out but the water was fine. The breakfast buffet was fine for the hotel and it gave us the opportunity to walk to the city center for dinner and some shopping. Also the desk clerk gave us a great recommendation for dinner that turned out to be one of our best meals in Scotland.
