The property had a great location - literally 2 miles from the Bandlands National Park. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived later than expected and found that the staff had left the lights and air conditioning on to make our late arrival more welcoming. This was a special touch that we appreciated. It was evident that the staff cares for the guests. Every interaction with staff was friendly, warm, and a great experience. However, the rooms were not very clean. There was dust on the lamps and other surfaces. The property is older; therefore, there were not very many outlets, and not conveniently placed. The microwave was on a table that had no outlet near it, making the microwave useless. The overall appearance of the property was run-down. I would not say that we had a bad experience...just perhaps an average experience. Nothing to brag about. Since we only used the room to sleep in, it wasn't terrible. But it certainly was not a space I would want to spend all day in or that I would find relaxing.
