I’ve had a couple of incidents happen at this hotel first off the first night. My key card was deactivated to my room. I was calling the hotel staff at the front desk took them about 15 minutes to even answer me, and then despite me having multiple bags and very tired forced me to come up to the front desk to get another key, then the next day, the cleaning staff cleaned my room, but left me with no washcloths and the front desk after another 10 minute wait hold refused to bring me another washcloth there was some weird white stuff in the toilet the other entrance doors are not secure. They are all unlocked. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. I see why it was so cheap.

Our evening flight out of IAH was canceled so we needed a quick, inexpensive room near the airport with a shuttle available for a 6am flight. The Ramada fit the bill. The staff was great, we had an early check-in with no issues. Most of the public spaces are very clean and show signs of a recent refurbishment as did our room’s interior. The hallways to the rooms, not so much, but the owners are doing things in the proper order. The restaurant had a limited dinner menu but the food and service were great and the cost was on par with many outside chain restaurants. There is a breakfast buffet available for a reasonable price, but since we left at 3:30am, we couldn’t take advantage of it.

Room was clean and comfortable, big TV with all the channels, the lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. Restaurant was ok for dinner, but they didn't have coffee (??) which was strange. So I asked for sweet tea. Nope. Lemonade? Nope. Just soft drinks and alcoholic drinks. Weird. The waiter did go get me a cup of coffee from the front desk (free) so that was nice of him. An older hotel that is showing it's age a little but overall well kept, and more than adequate for an overnight connection at IAH. Really low rates and free airport shuttle too. I would stay there again if I ever find myself with a layover in Houston again.

Staff was courteous and room was semi clean. No channels to watch on tv and the hotel smelled like weed. There was even a huy in front of the hotel smoking weed. There are too many other cleaner nicer hotels for the same price. This hotel would be my last and only option if I stay again.
