The hotel is being renovated so it’s a little “meh”. It’s very old and historic so don’t expect modern. The staff is wonderful. I know it would be hard to control given the age and shape of the building but just know roaches are an issue. When I went to the restroom at night and turned on the lights, roaches ran everywhere. I told the staff and they did wave one night resort fee. Just be aware you are paying to stay in a historic building during renovations.

I LOVE THIS HOTEL but it was hot in our room and we couldn’t open the windows. Breakfast was not at the hotel. This hotel is old and oozes charm!

I did not care for the key, had problems with getting the door unlocked. The room was pretty run down. The building was cool, full of Christmas spirit. Staff was nice. Our curtain had dried old blood on it. I would go back just for the lobby nostalgia and the fact that it’s old .
