Wonderful property, perfect for our big family, easy to get to adventures, well-appointed kitchen for big family dinners. Easy directions on everything. You can’t get much more away from while still being accessible to all the Columbia River gorge has to offer

Lovely setting and house

Plenty of room in the public spaces. Good appliances and amazing views of both Mount Hood and Mount Adams. Easy access and rules for clean-up. Nothing went wrong but if it did, local host is easily reached.

Best weekend getaway

The house was perfect and hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Would have loved an outdoor firepit and curtains in some of the bedrooms. The views were unbelievable and the property was private yet close to town. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Amazing New Year's Stay with SNOW to bring in 2025

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful, tranquil setting even though the mountain view was obscured by winter weather. Everything we hoped for was there, and we even got a few inches of snow to enjoy! We were very pleased that the pots and pans were in such lovely condition and the hot tub was heated to perfection. All beds, except a few of the extra twins in one bedroom, seemed to be plenty comfy. The hosts were very communicative and accomodating.

Terrific for large family event

We celebrated a 90th birthday here, and the house was perfect. Lots of room for three families, including adult children. Very comfortable living room, game room and large dining room table for meals and games. And the kitchen was connected to the living areas with seven bar stools, so everyone could be included. Also, close to town, and plenty of parking. The setting is very peaceful and beautiful. We are already talking about returning next year!

Beautiful house in the middle of the upper valley. Our family stayed here for my daughter’s wedding in town. Easy to find and pictures are true to what the house has to offer!

Pretty Good!

Loved the house overall. Very striking back porch with an incredible view. I was with a group of dads in their mid 30s, which is to say it was a pretty tame weekend. However, we kept getting texts and calls from the property management company because of a sound monitoring device they have in the house. I walked the perimeter and couldn’t hear any sound escaping so I did not appreciate that constant annoyance at all. There were no neighbors right next to the house which made that situation that much more baffling. Also checkout time is 10 AM which is highway robbery.

Outstanding Property!

This place is amazing! From the incredible wrap around deck with the Mountain View and relaxing seating to the special touches located throughout the house, our whole family was impressed! We made so many special memories here. The property manager was exceptional to work with - highly responsive and very thoughtful. We can’t wait to return!

This property was everything it said and more! The views were spectacular, there was ample room for the varied ages of our family. And everyone couldn’t get over the mountains flanking both side! It was a blast and a great spot to stay!

Great location, close to Wedding Venue

Perfect location to stay for son’s wedding at The Orchard. Beautiful views of the mountains. Hosts were very helpful to meet our needs during our stay.
