Worst beds I have ever slept in. The bed squeaked and the mattress was saggy and old. Service in the bar was awful. They do not understand customer service. The pool and spa were broken the first day and then they over chlorinated. The spa was around 95 degrees and the jets would not come on.

The Internet connection is slow. The place is getting old. Not that bad. Someone told us it is the best available in Hood River, unfortunately.

No fresh air without AC unit, Room Service button on phone led to an ad about the restaurant then hung up, but no connect to room service

The hotel is nice and in a convenient location. We called in advance of making reservations to ensure that the parking lot could accommodate a truck with a trailer, and they said yes that they had RV and trailer parking. We were intown for a car show. The parking lot is very busy, and it was not easy parking a truck and trailer. We made reservations 2 months in advance for an upper room with a river view, however, when we arrived, they had us booked into a lower-level room with a view of the parking lot. They did adjust our bill appropriately; however, it was disappointing that we didn't have the river view on our stay. The hotel and restaurant are nice, and the room was comfortable. The staff was pleasant. Someone at the hotel had left a message on the room lan line but there were no instructions on how to pick up the message on the phone. We called the front desk, and they didn't know either. After our second call to the front desk, they called a supervisor to get instructions. They either need to put instructions in the rooms or leave messages on the guests' cell phone.
