The hotel was excellently situated to visit the Peace memorial complex. The bar provided amazing views of Hiroshima and we enjoyed the free drink on my VIP status. However, the rooms were dated and could use a total makeover. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was adequate and they really could use much better system of providing coffee to the guests

Buffet and swimming pool let down the 1 night stay I found the buffet very disappointing at 8pm there was hardly any food and choices left. There was supposed to be hot food served 5 items brought to the table but odd choices like hot pineapples and sweet potatoes appeared and then roast beef which was ok didn’t see others. Bread was also stale, salad was ok - should have been 50 items didn’t see that many. Think it wasn’t a good buffet Property looks a little tired now also, location is great though also nice view from cocktail bar What ruined the whole stay for me was the situation with swimming pool (happy to pay the extra fee to swim) however you had to pay additional and stay checked into the room as swimming pool was for checked in guest only- so essentially pay for late check out when we were NO longer using the room or wanted it. We wanted to swim for an hour or so But would have to pay approx 30,000 yen. (we had two rooms). Check out strict at 12, pool only opens at 11am. If someone had mentioned it earlier then maybe we would not have waited to swim after checking put.. it was odd and disappointing for my kids who were looking forward to a light day after a lot of sightseeing

It is close to the Peace Memorial Park and the museum as well as the nice shopping area. The views from the higher floors and dining on the 33rd floor are magnificent. A historic Hiroshima visit was made very special by the great accommodations.

This hotel has 6 restaurants in the property and very convenient to subway train and bus station. The breakfast buffet is available on a 1st floor restaurant and a 6th Fl restaurant. Even though majority of the food selection are similar, I would recommend to go to 1st floor one that it has a bit more food and drink selections and more comfortable seating. Because of that, 1st floor is also a lot more crowded that might be a line to enter. Overall the breakfast buffet food is so-so, i would not recommend if you have to pay for it. On the other hand, we also tried the Chambord restaurant on 33rd floor. The food was excellent and has a great night view of the area. The facilities is dated. Also, there is a big hospital across from the hotel, we often hear ambulance sirens.

My friends and I loved staying here. The location was perfect and we had a beautiful room view of the city and mountains. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was huge and clean. The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and park were walking distance and there were many great restaurant options nearby. The train station was convenient as well. Loved the breakfast buffet option and how lovely the entire staff was. Definitely check out the hotel bar—it had a classy, old timey feel and the bartender was really kind; he made incredible cocktails and made great conversation with us!

They forwarded a package for me with no hassle needed on my end. This was very good of them and I was very happy with my service. If I come back to Hiroshima I will stay here again. The restaurant on top of the hotel is very good too.
