Beautiful hotel walking distance from Hiroshima station.

Like: Room price and location. Didn't like: Room size; and other needs. My room was about 9 x 9 feet square. No closet. No drawers. No kitchenette. The bed took up half the room and the tiny desk took up the rest. It's so small, I had to sleep with my suitcase on the bed with me. If I put it on the floor, it blocked the tiny path to the bathroom. This is not a comfortable hotel, but the cost is only about $60/night US and it is right in the heart of downtown, only 3 minute walk from the train terminal. One must decide what is most important. Didn't like the additional fees associated with other needs. I paid over $50 US to have a few shirts laundered (no ironing). They were (apparently) air dried and folded. They were nice and clean, but looked pretty wrinkled. The hotel restaurant is also expensive. If you sit down in there, you won't get up until you have spent over $60 US for one person. I saw many people eating every meal in there. That significantly changes the entire reason to stay at an inexpensive business hotel. My opinion is to decide how much money you want to spend first, then hold that cost to its minimum by eating at local places. There are literally hundreds of local restaurants just blocks away. If you do it right, APA can add to your Hiroshima experience. But, if you like the comfort to be the deciding factor, stay at the Sheraton and pay $250 US a night.

Room too small for 2 people. Mattress really bad. Laundry is always busy.

Poor service from staff. I felt like I was bothering them....not just one person at least 3 front desk staff. Recommend that leadership retrain the front desk staff as they represent the face of the hotel.

Was very please with the hotel. No complaints . Room slightly small, but that’s Japan in general.

This was a great hotel and fairly popular, which is to say it was a bit busy. The staff handled the flow well. The room was a bit small but it seemed clean. Breakfast room was well presented and good food options, but quite busy. I would stay here again if I were staying the area.

It might have been a small room, but, sleep very well...nice and clean...

New hotel facilities, have public spa. Quick good.

I like the location. I like the upscale ambiance. But, the room is so small that I had a difficult time moving around. There is barely twenty inches of space between the desk and bed. No room for a suitcase at all. No closet at all. They have two small bars behind the door from which to hang clothing. Not friendly for foreign visitors that are bringing two weeks worth of clothes; but I understand that this is one of the factors that keeps the cost low. The lack of English instructions for the TV and other devices is notable, but not disqualifying. Wi-fi is a plus. Overall experience is positive, but I did not spend a lot of time in my room. The location is a BIG plus! I'd stay there again. The price was definitely better than comparable hotels in the area.

The AC is really a problem, and the bed pillow are not good and not enough for two people.

Hotel is new and close by the train station. Each floor have microwave and iron station.

Thank you for staying at APA Hotel . But I'm sorry I don't have a pillow to suit you. If you tell the front staff, you can give a large pillow, although there are a limited number. I would be glad if you stayed again when I came to Hiroshima.

Thank you for staying at our hotel. We are pleased that you seemed satisfied with the location. And thanks for understanding the narrowness of the room. Because we are focusing on ecological activities, we are designing rooms a bit smaller. If you have the opportunity to come to Hiroshima please use our hotel. Thank you for writing reviews.
