So picture this: we’re checking out of Fossil Creek in Russell, and the wonderful desk attendant, Veer, is making sure everything’s good. We mention a little leaky faucet, and he’s on it like a champ, apologizing and promising to fix it up. All good, right? But then—plot twist!—as we’re about to head out, we pull a little “oh, one more thing” moment. We let Veer know we were a bit miffed that breakfast wasn’t included as we expected. Veer, without missing a beat, goes, “Oh, I’m so sorry about that—let me make it right.” And just like that, he turns what could’ve been a grumpy morning into a moment that had us smiling and laughing again. Thanks to Veer, a leaky faucet and a breakfast mix-up turned into a five-star comedy of great service. Thanks, Veer, for the top-notch hospitality of making us breakfast and the good vibes!

We stayed for the pool intending to exercise daily. It was dirty with bugs and hair floating on the top. A considerable amount of dirt, or sediment, was present in the bottom of the pool. We asked management to clean it up but the rensing days of our three day stay were no better.

We were traveling to Colorado and needed a place to spend the night. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean and comfortable. They allow dogs for a very reasonable price so that was a bonus for us.

Staff was not friendly, laundry room was covered in drywall dirt from wall repair and big piles of debris inside, hot tub wasn’t even warm and was murky, found a flea on me in the room, fellow traveler found bugs in bathroom they had to kill, our tub backed up with sitting water with any water on in it, beds were very hard, breakfast was not worth staying for (powder eggs, small offerings mostly bread things). It was a quiet place, the shower was good for spray and no temperature fluctuations. Overall, not the nicest place and I wouldn’t stay again.
