The location on the quaint little side street was amazing. Breakfast was a multi national selection of dishes with lovely attentive service from Trang who would have turned buffet service in waitress service if you’d asked! Thanks Trang. Celena also deserves a mention as she took us under her wing and made sure that all our trips were successful and our (many) questions answered. Ninh Bin and Halong Bay successfully and enjoyably completed with Celena’s help- thanks Celena.

The staff were incredible. They provided fabulous service and were very helpful around sites to see and where to eat. The hotel itself was in a great location with big rooms that were clean and tidy. The breakfast provided was great. I would totally recommend staying here.

This hotel is in a great location, it is a 10-15 minute walk to part of train street or very quick motorbike ride. All of the staff are very friendly and will all go out of there way to make your stay as amazing as they can.

Il a tout. L'emplacement est parfait, très proche du lac Hoan Kiem. Ma fille adore cet hôtel et souhaite y rester plus longtemps. While we spent only one night there, we came back to another hotel later so we had a good comparison for Old Quarter small hotels. As the hotel is in a small side street, the combination between central location, but less hussle and noise right outside is excellent. The service they provided was very good and proactive including excellent restaurant recommendations. As we had to leave early the next morning they had already arranged a breakfast doggy bag for us as well as pick up. I would definitely stay there again.

What a beautiful hotel. Our stay was so memorable and enjoyable. Nothing was to much trouble. Exceptional service by the staff, We would rate as the best service we have ever had at a hotel. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was also good. This is a good location, within walking distance of Train Street for one example. If you go there, ask what time the trains come thru. We missed that. The beds are a bit hard, but all else is great!

We used Royal Palace hotel as a base. This was our first hotel in Hanoi, and we returned here after the loop, after Sapa and again when we returned from a cruise on Halong Bay. The service was outstanding! The employees go above and beyond to make each stay perfect. We had the opportunity to try 4 different rooms. The breakfast was also exceptional with both local and European options. Celena, at reception, was outstanding!
