Ok, let's start with the good. Clean rooms, good breakfast. Now as for as advertised city view, a view of the nothing but walls a roofs. Memory beds, the only memory is the old fashioned springs sticking through the memory foam padding they have put on top. Any complaints to management went no where as they didn't want to listen. We actually checked out a day early because I didn't sleep for two nights on those awful mattresses. This hotel is not as advertised on the website.

Open minded to to many things I found the Royal Palace to be an excellent location in the heart of this vibrant city, close to many of the attraction and must see places in Hanoi Jimmy who mans the reception could not be more helpful advising you on the things to do and places to see and when the best times to visit Breakfast is served with the minimum of fuss for your own diet needs and always with a big smile if there is a better start to the day I have not found it.

Excellent service from staff. Jennie was extremely friendly and efficient. Made my stay really comfortable. The room was really neat with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. Angela also helped with the booking of one day tours to Halong Bay and HoaLu - Tam Coc. Great service. Will definitely stay at this hotel should I visit Vietnam again.

L’hôtel est propre, situé au centre de la ville de Hanoi, avec un personnel serviable et gentil ! Jim, le directeur de l’hôtel, nous a aidés à organiser un voyage à la baie d’Halong, et a été très serviable à d’autres endroits. Excellents équipements, avec petit-déjeuner inclus. Grandes chambres - télévision avec chaînes de cinéma, grands lits et climatisation. C’est notre première fois au Vietnam, et nous avons terminé notre voyage vers le nord. The royal palace hotel is in a quieter area where you can hear yourself think and surrounded by amazing restaurants and cafes. The rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds. I stayed at the Royal Palace for almost 2 weeks, whilst I was looking for long term accommodation in Hanoi and it was a wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a huge comfy bed, nice lighting, air con, fridge, kettle, hair dryer. The hotel is in a fantastic area - its the quieter side of the Old Quarter but close to lots of fantastic restaurants and cafes (including the late night street food places) and its walking distance to lots of points of interest (Hoam Kien lake, St Josephs Cathedral, Hoa Lo prison, the Vietnamese Women's museum etc). Breakfast is great, with lots of Vietnamese and Western options. All the staff are friendly, respectful and helpful, and Jimmi and Jenny will go out of their way to make sure you have a good stay. It was the perfect place for me to settle into Hanoi and I'd certainly recommend it to a friend

We stayed here for one night only however it was a pleasant experience. The beds were comfy. Breakfast was awesome and the place was clean. I would recommend it if you are looking for somewhere nice and cheap. Will return if we ever come back to Hanoi.

The hotel staff are very accommodating, helpful, respectful and very kind. The facilities make our stay comfortable. Jennie was very professional, helpful and very polite. We. Wil come back and recommend to our friends.
