Maria and especially Esteban were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. The Ocean Deluxe rooms had panoramic views of a big wide ocean and sky with rugged coastline stretching away into the distance, the Tahai Moais and the surf. Breakfast was simple but great for us. The room was safe, cleaned daily but old and in need of minor repairs. There was plenty of hot water. There was no TV, phone, air con, tea or coffee or tissues in the room. The bed was pretty good. Short walk from everything. The exchange rate was no good.

Staying at Hara Nui Hotel was one of the highlights of our trip to Easter Island! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The amazing girls at the front desk were absolutely wonderful—always smiling, super helpful, and ready with great tips for exploring the island. Whether it was helping us book tours, recommending local spots, or just chatting with us about the island’s culture, they were a total joy to interact with every day. We also had the pleasure of meeting Sebastián, the owner, who was just as friendly and welcoming. You can tell he truly cares about his guests and takes pride in making sure everyone has an unforgettable experience. Another bonus? Their laundry service was top-notch! Quick, efficient, and our clothes came back fresh and neatly folded—such a lifesaver after a few adventurous days on the island. If you’re heading to Easter Island, Hara Nui Hotel is the place to stay. Amazing people, great service, and a warm, welcoming vibe that makes it hard to leave. Five stars all the way!

It’s a nice hotel with spacious rooms and welcoming staff

Celebrated my 40th birthday in Easter Island and decided to stay in Ohana. The location is a bit far from the town if you want to walk.but you can always ask the hotel to call for a taxi or you can also rent a car directly at the hotel which is a lot cheaper compared to the rental cars in town. The hotel staff are very friendly and attentive with our needs and they even made me a birthday cake which was very nice. The rooms are huge and the AC was working great. Overall I give this hotel a 10/10

Loved this place. Family of 4, kids 7 and 2. We loved the little kitchen and pool. Nice staff.
