You people are scammers nowhere on the app did it say that I’d be paying you $250 security deposit on my credit card for which it takes five business days to get back which could end up being two weeks with weekends and holidays this is ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. Why not just at least offer to pay cash that way you’d get it back the next day I cannot afford to keep spending $250 every night while I’m travelling in the hopes I’ll get it back in two weeks that adds up the bills on my credit card. This is a total scam

I've stayed here often for years, but I'm done until they upgrade. Low water pressure, shower did not work, manual heating via a 1970s AC unit, breakfast closed, DIY repairs that look amateurish, tiny shampoos...I could go on.

Large deposits announced after too late.

We wanted a hotel with a pool. We did not realize the pool was outdoors and was closed. Also when we got there we do not realize there was a $250 deposit due on check in. Yes we re owned a confirmation e-mail but I did not look at that close enough. The room was prepaid and no refund. We were there to bury my mother-in-law and funds were tight. This added expense made it a very tough situation for getting home later. Yes we got the deposit back but that did not help I. The moment when we could have used it. There should be a clear notification of these type of charges up front. Not in an email after you’ve paid a non refundable room fee. Had I seen that I never would have booked the room. Same with the pool.
