First and foremost is the noise. The hotel sits right next to a hostel that has a giant party every night of the week with people screaming and music blasting outside well until after 1am. Had to sleep with headphones every night. Then there the ants. Ants are everywhere…in the bathroom, on the floor and even in the bed. The shower pressure and temperature was almost always poor. And for some reason every night the lights would flicker until they went so dim that you had to sit in near darkness and use your phone flashlight to see anything. The pool wasn’t as nice as the pics online. The breakfast was just ok. The staff was very nice though. Still, I paid $800 to stay three nights there and I wouldn’t pay $80 to stay there again.
