Historic hotel in the heart of Zona Centro next to the Jardín Union, this is a lovely property with a friendly, helpful staff. All of Guanajuatos treasures are within a few blocks’ walk—the funicular to the Pipila monument, the Diego Rivera House Museum, the Alhóndiga, and the Museum of Don Quixote Iconography. We will be staying at this property for our next visit.

Excellent location, if you like Live music

this hotel is in the very center of the lively city. The location is perfect to be able to walk to all of the beautiful cathedrals, theaters and museums. It is also right on the main piazza where the mariachi bands entertain at the many restaurants. Definitely best to have a room not facing the square, as the bands and parties continue late into the night on the weekend.

Very central location, clean and staff is very polite and helpful. Laundry service on site. Have also AC and elevator for two persons at a time (no luggage). They do charge for bottle water after the first two provided. A little noisy on the weekend since it’s right on the plaza and music goes on until late hours. I did not see access to roof top or pool.
