The stay was comfortable. Outside was not pleasant as there were huge roach looking bugs on the side walks and in the parking lot. My 4 year old was terrified. I did not like them either.

Stay was absolutely horrible. The hotel was not cleaned our fire alarm kept on going off throughout the night every time we turned on the shower the alarm would go off from hot water steam. carpets were extremely dirty. There was no ventilation when you walked into hotel super muggy and when we were leaving, we saw several roaches on the floor. We would never recommend this hotel. I’ve stayed at many Hamptons and is usually my hotel of choice after several experiences over the last couple of months I have to say I will be looking for a new hotel chain.

The AC did not work well in our room, the room felt humid and warm no matter the thermostat setting. It made sleeping less comfortable. There was an Applebee's next door, and a Walmart and other restaurants were just across the road, so food and an other necessities are readily available. The bathroom door had no lock. The bathroom door was a sliding door. Slid to one side it was the closet door, slid to the other side it was the bathroom door. Very strange design for a hotel room, I did not like it. The front desk staff was not very friendly, but the lady who prepared/served breakfast was sweet and breakfast was good. Our stay here was not an unpleasant experience, but the next time I stay in Goldsboro, I will likely pick a different place to stay.
