We book a room for 3 nights at the "6 Lovely Studios Hotel," in Ghent, Belgium, and arrived late in the day to find that the room was not as shown in the photos nor matched the printed descriptions -- NO windows, no city view, no heat, no clean sheets, and the upstairs' shared-kitchen and laundry was dirty, the fridge was packed full of rotting foods and nothing to cook with. After several hours of messaging both with the hotel owner, (who never appear in person, nor sent anyone to assist us) and booking Expedia agents, we were increasingly cold due to no heat in the room. With Expedia chat agent's agreement for us to leave and cancel the booking. As a senior couple, in a strange city, and late at night, we had nowhere to go, so we spent the night freezing in our street clothes and coats, we left early the next morning to move to another hotel booked via Expedia for the remaining 2 nights, and received $50 credit for our "inconvenient." Hotel owner refused repeated requests both from us and from Expedia for full or partial refund, and lied about the heater among other matters. DO NOT book with the 6 Lovely Studios!
