While the property itself was nice, i would caution others from staying here as all the amenities (ie waterpark, activities) cost add'l money. Very poor communication (took 2 tries to get them to send towels) yet they are constantly sending texts wanting excellent feedback. The property itself does not have a good infrastructure (2 pools to accommodate all guests) and it's on a hill so you either drive, walk up or down or wait for their buses. Sadly there are much better cheaper options available.

Very Disappointing

I won’t be back to Westgate. Our room was decent, nice bathroom space, stove didn’t work, no balcony on our Villa. Apparently we needed to get the Deluxe Villa to have a balcony. The worst part of the room was the lack of natural light. We had one small window… in the whole “villa”. Lots of amenities on site, most of them you have to pay extra for, not a huge deal. The part that was really off putting was this timeshare scheme they have going. We were invited at check in to attend a presentation with lunch to give our opinions about the facilities, and afterward they would give us a visa prepaid card, that would last 90 minutes, “but usually they finish before that”. What actually happened was a one on one car salesman type person who showed us a villa, and tried to convince us to buy a timeshare with them for 2 hours and 45 minutes. I told them I wasn’t buying anything at the beginning, and about 5 more times throughout the whole process. After I said no he would say that’s fine and let’s just wait for my boss to come over and I can review his performance, they never asked me for my opinion, just kept trying to lower the offer each time a “boss” came over. Just an epic waste of time on my vacation. The rest of the trip was great though, just anytime I was away from Westgate.

It was a beautiful resort and very friendly staff. I was a bit disappointed when I found out the water park wasn’t included with our stay which I find a bit odd. I also didn’t appreciate that they try to push you to join their timeshare when we were there to relax and explore the area.

Stunning views of the Smokies!!! Very clean property. Staff extremely friendly snd helpful. Love, the fact that you can text and ask questions (waterpark hours, and prices) and get an immediate response. And also request housekeeping services. Room was spacious and equipped for everything we needed for a weeks stay. Would highly recommend this property.

I thought the inside pool was included in the room cost. The water park was an additional charge for a smallpool whiched happened to be dirty/filthy. The communication about hiden fees wasnt expected. Short staff and very pushy sells/ staff. Not very friendly in the checkin/out area. Loud and noisy environment constantly sound like someone was trying to break into the room due to have to have the ac so slow to keep the room cool in additionto the fan . The transportationaround the area seemed to be a cool idea until one guy tried to run us over and was clearly speedingpast us even though there was a sign that said watch for kids and people. The food is okay the ribs are way to over seasoned with bbq. Dont waste your money here. Wish i could get my money back and get anotherhotel room somewhereelsewhere

The property was great. It felt like a decently modern cabin in the woods. The people working there are absolutely amazing. Super friendly and curteous. The location is quite easy to find, it is quite steep up the hill. Every hotel we stay I try to give a review based on 3 things. 1. Hospitality, 2. Premise and experience 3. Above and betodn beyond I would give it all a 5 star except the going above and and beyond. There was about 2 occasions where I needed little bit of help and both were failed. I needed to borrow a computer mouse for an hour, I had to check in

This place is so beautiful and so friendly! The building we stayed in was only 2 weeks old so everything was new! We needed extra blankets and all we did was text and it was at our door! Westgate has got it down! Several pools and the onsite restaurant was so good for breakfast and dinner. Definitely will be coming back!!!!
