Mold and mildew saturated rooms caused us respiratory issues dry cough, swollen nasal passages, headache, irritation in our throats . They use heavy cleaners to mask it , rust and mold mildew in bathrooms, pool fences very loose . Health hazard!!!!

This is my favorite Alvin hotel, mostly because there is a ceiling fan. Really helps with the humid weather and air flow. Plus it is quiet and has friendly staff.

My room was fine. The tub faucet I guess was broke there was NO cold water and I know unusual the hot was scalding. Had to change rooms so we could bathe. Next room the toilet handle was broken and would barely flush. Over all it’s nice just needs some maintenance. Breakfast was pretty good as well.

Staff could have been friendlier. The room was clean but had a musty smell to it. We put AC on high fan and the smell got better. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good. All in all a good stay. Would recommend.

The property is severely outdated & the room had a terrible stench. Additionally, you could term the rooms were not cleaned properly. After checking in we went to the room & left to go back out and all my information was still sitting on the front desk. I had to call the receptionist to remove it. Do not stay here.
