When we arrived (2 elderly ladies) and walked into the lobby we were astonished. It was filthy. There were unattended plants in the lobby that had clearly not been watered in a long period of times. There was NO furniture, just the plants on the floor near the entrance. There were dead leaves from the various plants and other dirt and debris on the floor. There was a sign on the front desk that read back in 5 minutes. That didn't happen. There was a bell, and I rang it numerous times with no answer. This was at four oclock in the afternoon. During our stay, there were several times that we went to the front desk. We finally would call the hotel directly and tell them we were waiting and someone would come out of the back. It was clear that they had been sleeping.
The room..... The linens were clean and as promised the bed was very comfortable. There was not a chair in the room. The bathroom door was broken. REALLY broken. It looked as if someone had kicked it in. It would not remain closed while you showered or during other necessities. The blow dryer didn't work. The pool was green and the fence around it was closed and locked. The property was littered with all manner of filth. Paper, food containers, broken toys, etc. There was not any type of "ash tray" outside and as a consequence there was smoking debris on all the sidewalks. We did stay there, although we did not feel safe. It could be a lovely facility, but it isn't. It was below low!
