Staff was so nice, you could tell that the room had just had some great updates made and fresh paint. The room and bedding were both fresh and clean. Everything from AC to shower worked great! The views around the location are amazing! Easy to find and get in and out of. They offered a breakfast buffet, but we opted to eat at local places. It was somewhat pricey, but due to the availability in that area, we thought it was the best option. Very close to Ft. Davis SP and not too far from Marfa, Balmorhea SP and the McDonald Observatory. We were able to visit them all in our one weekend trip.

Check in was OK. Nothing to it. Parked right in front of my room. Staff was nice and helpful. Room was good but not great. Found a bug in my bed at 12:30 am. NOT GOOD! But, out there what do you expect?

This property is way out of the way of major freeways. Town is tiny and has very limited dining that closes early. This location also charges a pet fee per pet per night. They didn’t point this out until checking out which was annoying. Breakfast was in name only and coffee was bad. Would not recommend this place to travelers passing through.
