Cracker Cow Cottages consist of three charming cottages situated in the river district of downtown Ft. Myers, Florida. Nestled just one street away from McGregor Blvd., this property holds historical significance as it sits on what was once the cattle run of the Heritage Breed Cracker Cows. McGregor Blvd., now a paved road, was originally a dirt path carved by Cracker Cowboys guiding their stock to Punta Rassa. Upon reaching Punta Rassa, the cattle would be loaded onto ships destined for Cuba. Our cottages seamlessly blend modern amenities with a nod to the rich history of old Florida. Conveniently located in walking distance to restaurants and shopping as well as the Thomas Edison and Henry Ford historic winter homes, and a short drive to beaches.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and 1.5 bathrooms, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker. Housekeeping is available on request.
