Le doy 4 estrellas porque habiendo un ascensor no estuvo disponible en ningĆŗn momento por lo que tuvimos que subir y bajar 72 gradas.

We got to our room and the air conditioning (which was an amenity definitely factored in when deciding our hotel since italian heat in the summer is no joke) was not working. We told the front desk immediately and they sent someone to try and fix it. Long story short, they couldnā€™t fix it in time of our stay and we were assured we would get a refund for our inconvenience (which I would justify as we barely could sleep due to the heat). They messaged me for my bank information to make a wire transfer and they literally ghosted us, even though I sent them all the bank info they requested as well as more messages days later to follow up (attaching screenshots of the whatsapp conversation). Itā€™s been over a week now since we got ghosted and definitely havenā€™t received the refund, otherwise this would be a completely different review. Since we were no longer in Florence I couldnā€™t physically go and make a complaint about this. We definitely got scammed, ghosted and lied to. Oh and the girl at the front desk had a terrible attitude towards us since the moment we stepped in for the check-in. Honestly, would not recommend this place. Totally unprofessional and not cool at all.

Spacious and clean room but dificult to get to it with all the luggage and no elevator to the 4th floor. Also, check in was in a different place from the actual room and check in couldnā€™t be after 5:30pm, that made it difficult to adjust our train or plane itinerary!

El alojamiento estĆ” muy bien situado, es un edificio antiguo, muy cercano a la plaza del duomo, y la habitaciĆ³n estĆ” totalmente reformada y es muy amplia. Lo malo es que estĆ” en un 4 piso...hay un ascensor que es privado y no se puede usar, por lo que subir con equipaje se hace pesado. AdemĆ”s para hacer el check-in hay que ir a otro establecimiento que no estĆ” lejos pero es engorroso y las horas para hacerlo sin coste adicional son muy justas.

La habitaciĆ³n muy bien. Espaciosa y limpia.

La habitaciĆ³n estaba muy bien. Era espaciosa y estaba limpia. Siempre habĆ­a toallas y papel en el pasillo para coger en caso d necesitarlo. Lo malo es que no habĆ­a ascensor y era un tercer piso y sobretodo que mĆ”s allĆ” de las 6 de la tarde (da igual las causas) lo consideran un late check in y te cobran 30 euros.

The air conditioning was not working and we spoke to the staff multiple times and they were not helpful and quite rude. There were also huge issues with mosquitos and the stairs were more than 3 flights of steps. The entire experience was super disappointing and I would not stay again or recommend to anyone.

The rooms were generally very good, wifi didn't work nor the soap dispenser but since we were there for only one night all we needed was a good space to sleep off the jetlag. Our room was very quiet but also close to the Duomo and some very interesting mercati but 3 flights of stairs might deter some.

Great location. Very small for 4 people. The stairs are something else, 73 stairs up to the room. There is an elevator but not allowed to use it (!!??). There is a very nice rooftop terrace that makes it worthwhile. I would cautiously recommend it, but if you have a problem with stairs I would avoid.

This apartment is an 80 stair walk up. NO ELEVATOR. If you have big luggage you have to carry it up all those flights. The airconditioning worked well. This was a plain room but bigger than a usual hotel room. The room was clean. They had extra pillows in the cupboard but no pillow cases. The shower didnā€™t drain properly so water rose over your feet in the bottom of the shower. Kind of gross.

Great location, 4 flights of stairs, no towel rack

The good first- The location was fantastic. Right off of an adorable piazza with several restaurant options. It was walkable to all of the sights we wanted to see, ponte Vecchio, duomo, galleria de accademia, Mercato centrale. The air conditioning worked decentlyl, there were ample towels. The bad- itā€™s a 4th floor walk up. The building had an elevator, but we couldnā€™t use it. Getting back to the room after a day full of sightseeing was tough because we had to have our 4 year old daughter climb 4 flights of stairs. Also, there is literally nowhere to hang a towel. There are no hooks anywhere in the space! We had a jumble of bath towels in a pile in the bathroom by the end of our stay. The shower also leaked terribly, so you needed like 2 towels on the ground just to absorb the water that came out. We also saw a few small ants around.

This is not an hotel so check in was in a different location with limited hours. You need to pay extra if arriving after hours.The room was beautiful, and excellent location. It was in a 3rd floor and elevator doesnā€™t work. We needed to take the stroller up and down and that was not convenient. Other than that, it is very close to great restaurants and touristic places.
