Beautiful Property

We loved the property and the manager. The apartment gets a 5++ rating. The neighborhood feels a littte unsafe at first but that soon goes away. Good security gate and the apartment was wonderful. Lots to do in the area (both land and sea).

The Cardeal Suites & Apartments is a quiet oasis, located in an average Faro neighbourhood. It's conveniently located just 5 minutes away from the shopping/restaurant district and 10 minutes from the historic downtown. Claudia, the property manager is super helpful and informative. The cleaning staff are friendly and polite.

Our room was super comfortable and well set up for an extended stay. The inner courtyard was quiet and also a beautiful setup. Faro was one of our favourite places to visit and we will come back to the Algarve for a longer stay next time. There are many restaurants and a pedestrian only commercial area within 10 minute walk.The area around the hotel is undergoing a rebuild and was safe and quiet after dark when we went out for late dinner. The people on staff were friendly and cheerful and Claudia even sent photos of the parking & entrance to make sure our check in went smoothly. Can't say enough good things about this location!

A wonderful haven

The apartments are wonderful, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff, particularly Claudia and Abigail, were very helpful and gave us lots of tips and ideas of what to do during our brief stay. Will come back again and would definitely recommend.

The best experience!

We had an amazing stay at this apartment in Faro, Portugal! The host was incredibly kind and helpful – truly the best reception we’ve ever had on vacation. The apartment itself was spotless and smelled fresh, with a beautifully prepared bed. As a lovely touch, the host welcomed us with some delicious biscuits and fresh oranges, which we really appreciated. There’s also the option to park your car in the garage for a nightly fee, which is very convenient for anyone traveling by car. Faro is such a beautiful and charming city, and this stay made our trip even better. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property.

We found this hotel/ suites very comfortable. We got upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom suite. The unit was very clean and spacious. We were only there one night but we felt right at home during the short stay.

Cardeal, Absolutely Fantastic

Cardeal is one of the nicest and most welcoming places I’ve stayed. The ratings I’ve submitted don’t do it justice, it is much better than the five stars in every category. If or when I return to Faro I will have no hesitation in staying at Cardeal. Claudia was extremely welcoming and helpful in many ways and I would like to thank her for looking after me.

Very new and clean. Owner Claudia is personally appointing to guest reception and some quick tour guiding of the local area. Room decor is complete with kitchenette fridge and microwave. We like the keyless entry - no more room cards! DIY laundry is free! Street parking is available and safe, keep your rental car small though. Neat courtyard for evening beers! We would have preferred thicker pillows but this is minor. Will come back again!!!
