I stayed at the Tivoli hotel Lagos in February for 6 nights and was very pleased. Lagos is a lovely town with gorgeous beaches and lots of great opportunities for walking/hiking in the area. The hotel is lovely and the breakfast buffet offers great variety and high quality food. It was a great deal ...
The hotel is under renovation, so some rooms are not finished. The entire closet in our room was unusable because it had not been cleaned and painted and smelled old and musty. There isn't anywhere to rinse your feet when returning from the beach so you get a lot of sand in your room and shower. ...
We had a nice room overlooking the Marina and the staff was overwhelmingly friendly and helpful. Perfect location to walk the old town of Faro. We would for sure stay there again!
This is a great place to stay in Lagos. It's about a 10 minute drive to downtown (6eur taxi), and the hotel has shuttles throughout the day. There is a very nice trail from the hotel that leads to the lighthouse and some of the grottos. The closest beach is about a 15 minute walk, or it's the first stop for the hotel shuttle. The staff is great, very friendly. The rooms were spacious, and very comfortable. The restaurant was very good as well. The main pool is excellent, with plenty of chairs. I would absolutely stay here again if we ever return to Lagos.
To many hotel rules interfered with enjoying the property.
Couldnt find this place. No signs from hwy. Not near beach -- on last road out of town. Not a hotel -- a condo with limited services (bring food, shampoo, soap, ppr towels, etc). No breakfast (snack bar at pool not even open tl 10am -- food horrible. No bellman - we had to find unit in dark and lug suitcases up 2 flights ourselves. Stove didnt work -- had to wait for maintenance to fix. 2d shower drain didnt work. Charges coffee, dish soap. Staff not helpful or even interested in helping you with directions. Ridiculous.
