"We paid $35 for early check-in. The fee is to have cleaning service to know to have our room ready. We were given a room that had a layer of dirt/dust on every surface. We wiped it with a towel and showed the front desk (they were extremely helpful and kind). She said that room had last been cleaned 3 days before. The window was left open and we assumed the recent storm blew dirt inside. She first offered to have it cleaned but we didn’t want to take all of our stuff out and wait for that to be done. She ended up giving us a new room. All seemed well until a man entered our room at 2:45am using a keycard. We were told the next morning that he worked there and didn’t know that room was occupied. In the morning the cleaning service knocked on our door twice (8:20 and 10:00) to clean our room even though we had the do not disturb sign on the door. Check-out was 11:00am. The best part was the helpful front desk staff member."
