Our experience at the Tygart hotel was far beyond any of our expectations. The entire building was extremely clean, our room was very spacious and had more than enough space for my spouse and our child. The on-site restaurant, the Oxley House, had incredible food and was a great place to eat after a long day exploring in the national forest. The staff were always extremely friendly and very helpful and we felt right at home. After a two night stay, we felt like old friends with everyone!

We travel a lot and this is one of the more enjoyable hotel experiences we have had. Checkin was painless. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The front desk and housekeeping staff were great. Very friendly and helpful. I wish I could give them more stars. Also, The Oxley House restaurant was good and there are several good restaurants within a 1 to 2 block walk
