Nice place

House was very nice and in a quiet location which was a short walk to the beach. Especially enjoyed the fire pit with the cool weather.

Perfect vacation home!

This was my families first trip to Edisto and it was everything we were looking for. The are felt safe and family friendly. The location was perfect for walks to the beach after dinner and bike rides around the island. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great house

Great house and location! Centrally located and an easy walk to the beach. The house was super clean with comfy beds and all the pots and pans you could ever need for cooking. The games downstairs were a great bonus. Recommended!

Wonderful girls trip for six staying at Knot in Kansas on Dorothy St.

Unbelievably clean! Very easy walk to an uncrowded beach. Well-equipped and spacious kitchen. Easy drive to a variety of restaurants. Will definitely be back!

Perfect

We loved our stay! The house was perfect for two families-One with teens and one with "littles". It had a lot of open area in the living room and game area but the bedrooms/bathrooms were separate. Kitchen had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the beach. We rented bikes to explore the area.

Great Beach House!

Great for a family beach vacation! Lots of room with privacy doors to bedrooms if needed, house was very clean, well stocked kitchen, space under the house was wonderful for kids to play - extra fridge was a bonus. Outdoor spaces to enjoy: fire pit for s'mores, front porch for coffee and conversations, out door shower was awesome after a day at the beach. Close to fresh seafood, restaurants, groceries, and attractions. Easy check in and check out - good communication. High recommendation!!

Spring in Edisto

Knot in Kansas was a great weekend rental for 2 couples. More than enough room. Loved the split open plan. Great amenities. Kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the extra towels. Fire pit was great as was the ping pong table. Very convenient, quiet location....beach access was easy. We had a super weekend enjoying Edisto for the first time due in large part to Knot in Kansas.

The house functioned as we expected, however the whole place could use a deep clean, pressure wash, and just someone to come do a thorough update.

Great vacation home

Our family enjoyed our time at Knot in Kansas. It’s a quick 3 minute walk to the beach. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of linens. We had everything we needed to cook a wide variety of meals. Updated smart TV’s had plenty of options for movie watching. The home decor was very tasteful and we felt right at home. I felt like I was staying at a family members home. I deducted one star due to the home having some items that needs maintenance which Vacasa was very prompt in attempting to fix any issues immediately. Home is lovely and despite a few hiccups with items that needed repairs, we had a wonderful time.

Great!

It had a great screened in porch for our little ones to run around in. Plenty of space in each room to accommodate our family. Everything in the house seemed to have been remodeled recently which was a nice touch. One of the toilets quit flushing correctly but Vacasa was quick to act and had someone out to the house within an hour and had the problem solved with no inconvenience to us! The only minor complaint I have is that the floor was swept but did not seem mopped. Not a big deal but we did wear shoes in the house most of the time so our feet didn’t stay black. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!

Knot in Kansas

This home is a perfect place for a family. It’s well equipped for meal prep at least for breakfast (only meals we made). Games for younger and older kids came in handy during rainy days. Bedrooms sleep 10 comfortably. The walk to the beach access was a 5 minute walk with kids. A wagon to haul beach supplies would be a nice addition to the house and perhaps some beach chairs. The photos were an accurate representation of the actual property. The back yard looked a little unkempt with long grass and lots of leaves but it is was early In the season during our stay so possibly winter cleanup had not yet occurred. Internet speed seemed good for some work needing to be done. We are coffee aficionados and would have appreciated a coffee grinder and nicer coffee mugs. We would stay again and could recommend it to others!

Wonderful time!! Beautiful , comfortable, fun home!!

We were never sent address Or name of office to pick up keys. Received several text messages but when I replied to text no response. When I tried to call number was told invalid number. When I called vacasa number they were unable to give me address or name and said they would have someone call. When I called 2nd time they were able to give me name and address to pick up keys. We finally were able to get into house. That was the only glitch. Everything else was perfect!! Just suggest better communication on where to pick up key. Thanks for great memories!!!
