"The hotel needs better maintenance overall. The pool area and first-floor carpet were in very poor condition, and the hot tub was not working during our stay. The carpets throughout the property smelled musty. Our initial room was dark and humid, so we requested a room change. The second room was slightly better, but cleanliness was still lacking. The linens appeared old, both the shower gel and shampoo bottles were empty, and the couch had a visible stain. Overall, the hotel is in need of an urgent update and improved upkeep to meet expected standards. On the other hand, the staff was very helpful and kind. Also, the btreakfast was yummy! One thing thought, the remote check in was kind of frustrating and our room keys didn’t work after. We rather use in-person check in."
