We liked being away from town with easy access to both lakes and public lands. The front porch is a great place to sip coffee in the morning and relax on for sunsets.

Great mountain cabin

Nice and quiet was what we were looking for. And that is exactly what we found. Enjoyed our stay completely. Beautiful area and would definitely come back.

Perfect Getaway

Me and my family enjoyed everything about the property. Had everything we needed and more. The drive up there was quite an adventure but we loved the tranquility and how quiet it was!

Cozy Cabin

The stay was perfect for our family, and the cabin is tucked right against the national forest with tons of space to explore. It's a small cabin, but perfect for morning hikes and only about 25 minutes from Durango for dinners. We'd recommend this for any small group visiting town.

Cabin Getaway

This cabin was very comfortable for my daughter and I. The WiFi worked great, which was really good because there isn’t any cell service. The cabin had everything we needed (except a can opener) and we had a great time.

Very nice but hard to find. Need some markers on the dirt roads. Great cabin,had everything we needed. Would be nice to have grab bars in shower for older guests.

Cozy!

My family enjoyed our visit! At first, we were surprised there was no TV, but we ended up not missing it at all. We loved the record player and all the board games. It rained a couple days during our trip and we loved just hanging out in the cabin, playing games and reading. The WiFi was good but mostly we disconnected which was perfect.

Relaxing Trip Down Memory Lane

It was a joy to find the cabin that our family called home for almost 20 years, before selling about 10 years ago. We surprised our mother with the trip and staying at the cabin was just as we remembered if from all those years ago. Sitting on the deck in the morning and evenings is priceless and the remodel of the inside from when we used to own it is REMARKABLE. Cannot wait to rent it again for future family trips.

Fit the bill

This cabin was what we were looking for. Quiet, somewhat secluded, clean and accommodating. It could use some improvement on lighting in kitchen and living room, the uncomfortable couch and a bigger place to turn a vehicle around. These are just suggestions. We will definitely come back and really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Stunning Peaceful Pines getaway~

What a fabulous home to spend quality family time at. The beautiful mountain surroundings, the sights sounds and smells of fresh mountain air and the beautiful scenery made this vacation a true blessing for my family and I as we wanted to getaway from the hustle or our daily lives. The home was stocked with everything we could possibly ask for and was perfectly situated in the mountains for short day trips to hiking locations and sightseeing. What a gem! I absolutely loved the record player!!!

Cabin in the Woods

Very nice little cabin in the woods - would worry about accessibility in the Winter, but otherwise, very nice. We lost power for half a day, but this is not the property owner's issue - local power company was working on the lines.

Cute place

Cozy cabin but very secluded. Make sure you do the check in process prior to your arrival. There was no cell service at the cabin and the wifi password provided in the check in email was wrong. We had to drive back down the hill to the highway to get cell signal to do the checkin and recieve the door code.
