The lodge was a fun experience for the family. The room needed some minor repairs but nothing too crazy. The fire pit area was fun, but the grass definitely needed cut. We met lots of great people and everything was in walking distance.

5 Stars – Great Stay with Old Western Charm

Easy check-in. The lobby had a cool old Western feel—really welcoming. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Everything worked great. Loved the vibe and would definitely stay again!

A little too rustic and hands off

Mattresses broken, sheets torn (mine had a slice/hole in it) and old. There were no blankets on the beds, and I had to ask for them. There was no regular coffee packets in the lobby (only decaf). There is no AC, and the porch lights don’t work (leaving it scary dark outside your door). No broom to sweep floors and no housekeeping offered for multiple night stays. Very rustic and cute, but has seen better days and needs new blinds (they’re broken), a deep clean (dirty and dusty) and a refresh. Desk hours very limited and it’s difficult to get help (I had no phone number to reach anyone, kind of have to take care of yourself).

The location of Twin Pines Lodge was very convenient, affordable and walkable, big pluses and the primary reasons we chose it. However, the room was a bit run down, and had an overwhelming smell of cleaner or disinfectant when we first entered; we aired it out for about an hour, and then it was ok. I found a half consumed beer in the refrigerator, yuck. On the plus side, we slept well on the bed, and the temperature in the room was comfortable. Checking in and out was easy. We never saw anybody who works at the lodge, so I can't say one way or the other how to rate the staff, but when I communicated with the "desk" operator before the trip, he was very helpful. Cheers, Margot

The cabin was a great layout snd clean, but definitely could use some attention to cleaning, the microwave had not been cleaned. Our toilet had a leaking valve with a nite to turn off the water vavlve, not something I really find fun or sanitary when staying on the road. The property could be beautiful but definitely can use some love and care.

Make sure you are not on the second floor with no A/C on a very hot day. We could not even sleep because the room was so hot.

We left and cut our losses. If we didn’t leave we would have been breathing fabreeze stink all night and choking on it! We received a code to check into a room in the lodge. No one was available at the desk so I called a number on a paper that was stuck on the door. I informed them that we had our small dog with us so that I could pay the pet fee. I was told no pets in the lodge but that we could be placed in a renovated cabin. Laughable. Windows were open and fan was blasting on high to get the oder out of the place when we arrived. The carpet must have been from 1960 or earlier. The smell of fabreeze to mask the disgusting oder could not be overcome even after leaving the door open for an hour. We left. I would rather sleep in my car than this disgusting smelly place. Save yourself!

Very adorable property. Very rustic, spacious and cozy. Everything was very clean & accessible. The walls/doors are thin and the floor squeaks, so we could hear a lot, but it fit our needs just fine.

We booked a family cabin with a futon but were given a cabin with only four beds so someone had to sleep on the floor. All transactions are through text messages, no staff on site. Found the manager the next morning and they blamed it on Expedia. Expedia said it was the motels mistake. Doesn’t change the fact that someone had to sleep on the floor.

Check in was very easy, and owners made sure we were satisfied with the size of our room. They also provided suggestions for dinner and were very responsive. The room size was perfect for our family of 6, and we loved that we could park right in front of our cabin. The room was mostly clean, although it didn't seem that the hard floor had been cleaned recently, as all of our feet were black not long after walking around in the room. The curtains in the bathroom did not provide any privacy, as they were sheer and you could see right through them. This wouldn't have been much of an issue but there was a camper parked about ten feet behind the bathroom. Lastly, we were disappointed that there was literally nothing provided in the kitchenette except for coffee. No paper towels, no dish soap, not even any paper plates or plastic silverware. Kind of inconvenient considering the resort didn't offer breakfast of any kind and we needed to eat in our room. Overall, we were satisfied for a one night stay, but I would have given a 5 star review with those few changes.

What a fantastic little lodge. We were in desperate need of a place as our tent had sprung a leak out at Grand Teton National Park. Twin Pines was the closest place and we couldn't have been happier! Check-in was a breeze. Great coffee! and what a cute little town in Dubois, WY. The Cowboy Cafe is fantastic! Thank you for being there for us in our time of need! Would definitely stay again.
