A perfect place for a family get together

We celebrated my husband's 90th with children and a granddaughter (29). Close walk to the beautiful beach, very clean and inviting swimming pool. Comfortable rooms with private bathrooms left you privacy. It was perfect.

We had a great time staying here on the summer break. The house was in a great location, however, there are some minor fixes but not a bigger deal. The host has been easy to communicate with and accommodate as needed. We would stay here again. Thanks

Great getaway!

There were 12 of us total ranging from 1-53 and we had a great time. The pool is a hit w the toddlers and the teenagers and is good to not deal w the sand for a day if wanted. Bette is great communicator!

Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! Tons of space where everyone had their own bed/bath but also plenty of room to gather together. We were there only a short time so we didn't cook meals, but if we had cooked everything we needed was there. We enjoyed the nice pool and the beach was only a short walk away so that was easily enjoyed as well. Cannot say enough how easy and thorough the communication was with the property manager! We didn't need a thing but if we had she was only a phone call away and very attentive. We can't wait to go back again and stay longer! Highly recommend!

Great spot

Great location. 1/2 block to beach and 2 blocks to cute coffee shop/lunch spot. Very convenient to groceries and amenities. Pool cabana is perfect for a couple with infant, it has a little kitchenette. Bedrooms in house are large and have nice big closets. Many balconies and areas to be outside. Bette, the property manager was awesome!! She helped with pre trip info about bikes, tennis courts and even tried to find a kennel for my dog. She answered any questions right away while we were staying in the home as well. Overall great experience for our group of 7.

The fact that the house wasn't raised up was also very helpful for my MIL who typically has trouble with stairs. Very convenient to the beach access, the only problem is the public beach access closest to the house is VERY small. You need to walk down a little further to have more room.

The cabana proved to be a perfect space for my brother and his wife with their new baby- away from the chaos of the adults, when needed. We won’t rent another space without a private pool, as this was perfect for those who wanted to lounge around for moments when they didn’t want to head to the beach. The neighborhood is surprisingly quiet, and you’re also able to rent and park golf carts as needed. Will return next year!

FANTASTIC TIME

The property was great, the entire family had a great time. The three teenage boys enjoyed their secluded time, as we allowed them to stay in the pool house together. We had a minor plumbing issue Saturday evening, but within one hour of contacting the property manager a plumber was at the house and took care of the issue in 15 minutes. The only problem we encountered was the public beach area was very limited and very crowded. Much of the beach which is in walking distance is private. We decided to drive (8mins) to Henderson Beach and had a blast. Staying in the house was me, my wife, our kids and grandkids and we had great family nights in the house. Craig M.

Beautiful house, perfect location!

Had the best time staying at this home with my daughter and her friends for spring break. The house was clean and photos of the property are accurate. The cabana was perfect for two moms to share. The pool was great (we had it heated) and we all enjoyed the poolside grill for a few nights. Most important - Bette the property manager is beyond amazing! I can’t say enough about her hospitality and helpfulness. She is an “above and beyond” kind of person all the way. If you report anything to her, it is taken care of immediately. Love her! I would definitely stay at this home again without question. The vibe of the neighborhood - safe, two minute walk from the beach and quiet hours at night. But not super uptight. Abide by the “four cars only” rule. You will get a citation if you block the sidewalk. There is a public parking lot with shops two minutes away that does not tow if you park there. Have fun! Thanksgiving fun

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall my family of 14 had a very good time. The rental accommodations fit our needs very well and the youngsters enjoyed the pool. However, our stay did not go without some negatives. The dishwasher broke early in our stay and could not be fixed before we left. There was a leak under the lavatory in the pool house which did get fixed. A propane tank we tried to use with the outdoor grill leaked which could have been very bad. There was a second tank we were able to use. There was no pantry in the kitchen which was very inconvenient (never have run across this in the many houses we have rented over the years; very unusual). Not enough dishes/cups in pool house. The back door was very difficult to open and close. Only OK from a cleanliness standpoint. Finally, I thought the rental cost was high for the condition of the house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bette with management was easy to work with. The home is beautiful. It is in a great location. We were in town for a family wedding. The home is close to the beach, shops and restaurants. There was plenty of sleeping space for our party of 14. The pool and cabana were great. The weather was hot a humid during our stay. The house did get warm, (especially upstairs) there were several fans to use in the closets, but they were filthy full of dust. It probably gets VERY warm in July and August. Some of the kitchen outlets did not work. The washer and dryer is full size. The laundry basket in the laundry room had old yellow (stained) towels in it. Which we just left in there. The stairs had some cracks and you could see where it was repaired, but it had already cracked again. Upon arrival I walked in the house with my bare feet and they were black, like the floor needed to be mopped. We really enjoyed our stay, except for the lack of cleaning items I mentioned. Other family members stayed near us with a home that included a golf cart for a comparative price. If I stayed in the area again I would look for a home with a golf cart but if that is not important to you the home is a good place to stay.
